That's quite a discount! ;)

Yo.
none of the pharmacies in his city have it. He lives in Seattle.
Stores may have it, but have it locked up or behind the counter (or just not carry it at all) my (seattle) grocery store carries hand sanitizer, but not on the shelf. You have to find an employee (good luck...) and ask them to go get it from the back/wherever. Or order the same product on Amazon for same-day delivery for the same price or cheaper :-/
I spent several weeks trying to get a dental procedure, where the dentist flat out refused treatment because my BP was high, and every subsequent rescheduling was higher and higher and higher every time. Got a note from my PCP - my dentist still wouldn't do my crown, and was insisting that my PCP do a full screening and review. My dr just gave me some xanax to take before going to the dentist, and never had a problem since. Recently moved, and just straight up asked if I can sign a waiver or something for them to not take my BP at the dentist - new dentist was like "no problem"
Chrome was bundled with so many installers. Google probably spent billions shoving Chrome into any machine they could.
I thought they were going all-in on doing it as a web app/browser experience?
I'd also point to a lack of third spaces for everyone from kids to elderly folks. Parents wait in a line of cars to drop their kids off at school, then pick them up in the same line of cars to drive them home.
Maybe replacing malls and diners with social media and fortnite isn't the best thing we could be doing.
#5 is probably the biggest reason, and the main driver for the previous 4. (housing is too damn expensive)
I do the same. got ~100 ish plain white hand towels/wash cloths that get washed with bleach. Really just used to dry my tushy after using the bidet.
People don't stay, because companies don't give raises or promotions.
It's extra frustrating because after months of not working, I'm getting rejected for "too much experience" when applying to a lower-level job, getting "not enough" experience for senior-level jobs, etc...
Have you ... ever dealt with people? This doesn't seem to be the typical reality for most.
Everyone also conveniently forgets that in many cases, Apple is only charging 15%, not 30 (small business, long-term subscriptions, etc...)
As someone in the job market right now, with 15+ years experience but no degree... This is an unfortunately very visible trend. It's Especially boggling to see a job posting wanting 10+ years of experience but still demanding you provide your GPA.
PlaceKitten(.com) is also a similar handy service.
Iran has those resources, however.
677808. RIP old friend.
Maybe I'm an outlier, I don't think the voice sounds like Scarlett Johansson. This seems pushed way out of proportion for what it is.
We really should restrict buybacks.
Not directly, but if it can save a university from having to use their endowment or other funds for something they would probably already do anyway, is there fundamentally a difference?
I feel you. I wish PowerPoint's "Design suggestions" could at least be editable. It will often suggest a similar layout that looks nicer, but with some dumb crayon looking lines. Just let me (re)move that stupid line at the very least.
Figma is pretty great at this.
Saw the headline and immediately thought "more 5th circuit bullshit again?" and was not wrong. Ugh.
Schoolbusses are one option to mitigate this specific issue...
Perhaps if there are multiple frustrated workers, they could get together and pool costs of their own reps... Then if more workers are frustrated they could also join.
American Frustrated Workers™ are so close to discovering unions...
It's bizarre the amount of money and resources we spend in futile efforts towards "solving homelessness" except for just... building homes.
A big issue with a lot of decriminalize campaigns and policies, is there is generally not additional funding and resources for rehab and recovery paired with it. It's just "well, go out in the street and do whatever" and police depts deciding to throw their hands up in the air and act like assault and other physical or violent crimes can no longer be enforced.
HEB in Texas has scales and label printers scattered throughout the product section for you to weigh and print a label while you shop for this reason.
So many endless repost-bots :-/
My recent job hunt was over 1700 applications.
Nobody is spending 10 minutes writing a cover letter.
Companies that are getting hundreds to thousands of applications are not reading every cover letter.
Who is even looking at cover letters at all?
