I've had a subscription to this site: app.dancevision.com for a while. It requires cookies to login and view and each video (3 directories down) is hosted on Vimeo. Could Kage actually do an offline mirror of the site (and the videos)?

UniGetUI is better
I need 2 reliable 12TB to put in my WD enclosure with two dead drives... what should I buy?
This is awesome! Will use this next time I run out of my bulk powder. One of which I didn't see on there. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000MAK59O
Are there any project-based up-to-date guides to Agentic coding w/ VS Code? Including all the latest features they keep adding from Cursor and other IDEs. Since we can just bring our own free models there.
I think F-Droid will have to go the ADB route, maybe have a desktop interface to wirelessly ADB install APKs to your devices... could be an awesome way to manage apps on multiple devices! I currently have a powershell script to do all that myself.
There's a few on F-droid. Soothing Noise Player seemed interesting. I'm sure there's a bunch more on Google Play.
Yeah I think ADB based solutions will be the way to bypass Google's Play store app developer registration and app ID registration crap that will kill F-Droid. Even now I grab a bunch of APKs and then have a script that wirelessly updates my devices... F-Droid ADB mode!
Dangit dunno what Add-on is interfering but not working on my current Firefox profile. (same user.js in a different profile but its working fine there)
I don't have a homebrew server for all the coolest open-source apps or a device to wake it up but it would be awesome if someone had a guide for dummies, including what to buy while keeping things relatively future-proof.
So what's the best portable emulation device that connects to HDMI too?
yeah seriously wth, I just did powercfg /requests and it says an audio stream is in use... so many web apps open I wonder how much power its been eating.
Look forward to testing the Windows version. Hope it has ability to also upload recordings, etc. Meetily is nice but setup feels too convoluted, with a backend and frontend being required to separately install...
Surprised Sidebery isn't mentioned even more. It's the main reason I switched, being the tab hoarding organizer I am, though I love all the other features he mentioned.
Wallabag seems to be the best especially since its KOReader compatible. I still haven't migrated though to self-host the server...
I wonder how LM Studio and AnythingLLM contrasts especially in upcoming months... I like AnythingLLM's workflow editor. I'd like something to grow into for my doc-heavy job. Don't want to be installing and trying both.

\_______/200mg caffeine is kind of a lot for me. I've dialed it down to one diluted cup (~80mg) 6 days of the week mixed with MCT, ghee, etc. I've tried bumping it to 200mg and can definitely feel slightly increased alertness late at night, even if I have it before 2pm. Gonna definitely try to have it all by noon now... since half-life is 12 hours and I sleep 10ish...
Not "cleared"... 12 hours is just the half-life. Hence the minor sleep disturbance even with such a delay. However, the benefits of a healthy cup outweigh the negligible sleep brainwave issue especially if properly relaxed.
Found UniGetUI and it does a great job calling WinGet, Scoop, and a buncha others with an ignore list as well! Windows will never have that level of customizability.
There was a study showing that memory and recall improved when people were encouraged to take pictures. I feel the same. I need to get organized with photos and videos though and thus I hardly take pictures and life feels a blur.
Riot can burn in a trash heap, they banned me for cussing someone out who was doing the same to rest of team.
Anyone use US Mobile? Thinking of switching from T-Mobile (3 lines at $120) to 3 lines at $60.
But then I need a new phone... waiting for a good promotion to switch to AT&T or Verizon.
They've also got a case of orange man bad syndrome. Jokes aside, why would they cancel? Don't they want to contribute to efforts to understand root causes?
My mom plans to go overseas back to (our birthplace in Bangladesh) for assisted living... where you can have a personal servant for less than $1k. The US is just ridiculous with inflated salaries and "care".
He rambles too much... I tried to TLDR with AI transcript:
Within the LPO which staff was cut and why would it have this effect ChatGPT said:
In the context of Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO), staff reductions have primarily impacted business services roles, including administrative and support positions. For instance, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) laid off approximately 50 employees in the U.S. and U.K., mainly in business services, as part of a restructuring to manage costs and align with practice demand . Reuters
These cuts are often driven by a combination of factors:
Cost Management: Firms aim to reduce overhead by outsourcing routine tasks to regions with lower labor costs, thereby achieving significant savings .
LPO&Law
Technological Advancements: The adoption of AI and automation in legal processes allows firms to handle tasks like document review and data entry more efficiently, reducing the need for certain support roles .
Press Release Distribution
Operational Efficiency: By outsourcing non-core activities, firms can focus internal resources on strategic initiatives and client engagement, enhancing overall competitiveness .

While these measures can lead to improved efficiency and cost savings, they may also result in increased workloads for remaining staff and potential challenges in maintaining service quality if not managed carefully.Would be cool if a lot of these get added to PortableApps for easy install and updates...
What's the meaning of this? Be spontaneous and give up on contriving so much
It's like learning to pilot a plane.... manually. Worth learning though and reading some manuals online. Minimal margins maximizing screen real estate, gesture shortcuts for almost anything, great reflow, and so much visual customization at a default level as well as per PDF... as well as having "profiles" to switch across. It's pretty amazing.
Most major miss is more friendly syncing though. Currently only supports Dropbox (WebDAV FTP seems to have issues, even when I used OneDrive key for it which works everyone else) and doesn't actually bidirectionally sync... only downloads. Why can't there be a simple auto-sync from a specific FTP directory including reading positions and such...?!
Also doesn't support Pocket or more popular sync services (only supports Wallabag).
Nothing is something indeed
