Not doing this for the money.. my corporate gig paid well but it was soul sucking.. as I mentioned.. doing this for exploring my curiosity and see where it takes me.. not to become the richest man in the world.. im happy im able to make enough to live a sustainable lifestyle and provide for my family.

And its not 8000 hours, I work 3-4 hours a day on most days..so around 1000 hours a year.. but even that doesn't feel like work..it feels like play..

Yes right!

I think Twitter is a great place to find interesting people with similar values - customers, clients, collaborators and even friends.

That's why I do everything I can to increase my reach while still maintaining my peace of mind.

I don't see anything wrong with that.

Yes I agree.. And there are so many benefits I've found -

- More time and freedom to work on my creative project. - Have more time for my family - Connect with people from across the world.

It's totally worth it, but can be hard for some people, that's why I think they need to focus on these 5 questions.

Hey HN

Exactly 1 year ago today I quit my job to go solo.

I've worked as a freelancer, consultant and also released a few of my own products.

My revenue is alright, almost matched my salary, but that wasn't my goal when I quit.

I wanted to reclaim my life and have more time and freedom.

Was able to do that, I'm in quite a happy state right now :)
