"Crema catalana: Three of four models called it “creme brulee” 100% of the time. Only Gemini 3.1 Pro got “crema catalana” — in 3.4% of queries."

Wikipedia for Crema catalana:

Crema catalana (Catalan for 'Catalan cream'), or crema cremada ('burnt cream'), is a Catalan dessert consisting of a custard topped with a layer of caramelized sugar.[1] It is "virtually identical"[2] to the French crème brûlée. It is made from milk, egg yolks, and sugar. Crema catalana and crème brûlée are made in the same way.

Oh no, my AI can't detect that an obscure clone of a famous dish is indeed the obscure clone, and not the commonly know version.

Especially back then, in the time of vinyls and cassettes (browsing music wasn't exactly as easy as pressing "play"), it shows the amazingly deep musical culture of these artists. The samples they use are from all over the place, and their songs are often built around a handful of seconds from obscure b-sides.

What's your stack ? I have the complete opposite experience. LLMs are amazing at writing idiomatic code, less so at dealing with esoteric use cases.

And very often, if the LLM produces a poopoo, asking it to fix it again works just well enough.

Thus, a problem in search of a solution. Who has asked for that exactly ?`It's been more than a decade and still no one has found an actually useful real-world application for blockchain besides gambling and money laundering.

The difference between this concept and, let's say, Descarte's evil demon, is not the philosophical skepticism but its explicit grounding in physics and thermodynamics. It basically attempts to answer the question "Where would that evil demon come from?". It materializes Descarte's thought experiment and shows that it could actually happen within the confines of our scientific knowledge, unlike malicious demons.

Looks pretty discriminate to me, only the pager holder was affected. I've seen multiple videos with very close bystanders completely unharmed. And whoever holds a pager from Hezbollah is a member of an armed terrorist group officially at war with Israel.

But hold on, this same CEO has spent over $230 million(!) buying Canoo stock from his personal funds [2], so he is significantly in the red no matter how much he gets reimbursed for air travel.

He's not the only shareholder. I am not sure the others appreciate paying for the CEO's lavish lifestyle when his company is on the brink of failure, even though the CEO is also in the red. And as you say, if he really wants to travel private, he can always use his own plane and not charge anything for it. The other shareholders are basically bankrolling his plane.
