if you compare bare bones infra for the same amount of money its insanely high. We didnt want to sound arrogant by saying you iops goes anywhere 10x to 20x, you get 10x the kind of dedicated cpu for the same price etc. so we chose a very humble number 5x. https://cloudexit.pro/why-exit.html has some actual real world numbers.

The last migration we did included a full kubernetes migration. We used k3s and it works beautifully on baremetals with an insane amount of resources now. Earlier devs were used to provisioning 0.5 cpus for a node, now they have so much resources to play around.
Very very important points about the sdks getting locked in into the prioprietary cloud s/w. This will need to be fixed by your dev team. However what we have noted is that the time and effort to fix these issues are much less when your dev team can ask a claude agent to look through code and make a particular feature of postgres x to be compatible for postgres y. This is a big committment of course.
We would assume that you will develop capabilities slowly to operate your infra, just like you have done for cloud. you can potentially use the same team that manages your cloud infra to do this also. contracting is probably the easiest to fix :)
why does it have to be suspicious. Its a services offering that we have.
Hi! Yes this is quite obvious on the outside isnt it? All it needs is execution we have helped multiple companies with cloud exits to significantly better performance. The hardware isnt difficult at all, one of our favourite bare-metal providers to use is Hetzner who has great deals on hardware.
If your startup/SME has significant AWS/GCP cloud costs, these guys will help you move your infra to your dedicated servers which should up your performance by about 5x and reduce costs by around 50-70%.
A single flight MCP to book flights if you are in India. Copy paste the prompt into your openclaw agent and you now have an agent that will help you book flights. Comes with all the benefits!
Create you marketing plan and campaign on chatgpt, form the message , upload a csv and ask chatgpt to send it. Forget about email sending complexities! A good email marketing tool.
Where is my linux version?
A lot of researchers who could really use this project would be sitting with a dual gpu setup on a linux machine. Would be an instant hit with the linux community.
Thank you! Appreciate the compliments :) hopefull Kids liked Nomu our mascot :)
Maths app made to make practicing basic maths fun for my kids and to make sure they do problems in a repetitive manner.
Key aspects: - Basic courses in a hierarchical manner including Addition, subtraction, multiplication, multiplication tables etc. - Automatically increases the difficulty of problems as your child learns and becomes more proficient. - No Ads / In App purchases and only a single one time fees forever - Parental monitoring. When the child starts working out problems, you will get a whatsapp message asking whether you need updates of whats going on. The app will tell you all correct and mistakes your kid did so that you can help them if you see a pattern. - It also alerts you if the child has moved away from the app to some other app so that you can give a phone to your child and not worry about whether they are doing something else.
I know there is a lot to do and this is merely a start. I would very much like to know your thoughts and opinions on how to improve this for all our kids.
If you do not want to pay for the app to try it, please drop me an email at info@nomu.ai and I will include you as an internal tester and you can test for free.
Your feedback will be very much appreciated.
Really nice. I was looking for something to use on my blog. I will try this out now.
or they have already found em aliens
twiddles thumbs
It's certainly preferable to the old situation where more than half of the _world_ was owned by less than 1% of the the British.
I didnt know about location history and web & app activity. It is indeed quite hidden and when I disabled them, i saw along with web and app activity, there was a bunch of other history google was storing like search history, browsing history etc. The really evil bit about Google is that, even when you disable them, Google does not delete the already collected history, they just "PAUSE" that so that they can keep old history.
penny wise, pound foolish
At least its good to know that you are not alone.
really? dropbox does a better job with the sync for me, across all devices.
if emacs?! why this?
Given India's infrastructure and assuming it will be not a 100% driverless cars , this is not an issue indian legislators need to worry about. At least until India can achieve a 100% literacy rate and assure driving licenses given out are genuine.
The cornerstone of this statistical conclusion is that you will invest the money you will use for college, however the fact is if you try and loan out the money that you need to go to college for any other purpose, that loan will be a lot more expensive that what you would get from a student loan. Also, the chances of you getting that loan is slim.
If you already have that kind of money with you and you are going to invest you own money for college then these arguments have a little more statistical weight. However, if you have that kind of money, you are probably already rich and wealthy at which point, you already have a good business/income and this delta that you would invest into that business will not yield you significantly more income than what you already have. At this point, its still better to go get a college degree.
the problem is with using multiple devices for email, that the local storage within apps like thunderbird wont suffice. I need to have a backup of all email somewhere, where I can quickly access/search stuff as well, not matter where i am.
pointless answer
How about a script that rounds of the fractions of dollars automatically into an account setup for funding investors in developing nations?
I think the only real solution to this is not to deny information to facebook, but to trivilize the information given to it. Fb already has all our data, now whether you delete it or not, they'll have it, either as visible data or as archives of back ups, they have it. What we should however do is what Adam Huxley suggested in brave new world that by filling in so much irrelevant information, you make it possible to drown out the valuable information.
I wont classify, I wont categorise and I won't tag, I will not create albums, I will just keep uploading everything everywhere. I will try face-detection with different people and my cat. You get the idea.
If enough people over use / abuse the fb with loads of insignificant info, FB's game will backfire.
I would just say:
1. Use built in data structures whenever possible
2. First fix your process flow, then spend more time to fix your code. Doing steps A C E F B and D might be better than A B C D E F.
3. Write direct queries with db when all else fails.
No wonder 95% of all startups fail! :D
Its surprising to see that thenextweb has written such a long article about t.co being down.
i guess its easy to write up stuff :))
You seem to be talking about outsourcing companies like TCS, Infosys etc.
In the technical field, cheating or faking it can only take you so far. Comparison should not really be with companies like TCS, Infosys, but with good companies who hire real talent and pay for that talent.
This, as far as I know is a direct result of proliferation of the number of engineering colleges in India. A good warning for companies to start recruiting only from top engineering colleges.
I just figured out how to do this. In "Manage your Kindle" option on your Amazon account, you can return any item that has been bought in the last 7 days.
fuck you, you just cost me 27$. You should have mentioned (for US only)
My mistake for completely trusting something i read here. next time i ll be double checking. lesson learned.
