I can't tell if you're disingenuous or just ignorant. The Trump admin has been completely coopted by the pro-Israel lobby and Big Tech. He betrayed his entire base. He's ruling by executive fiat (EOs). Anyone that speaks out publicly for the original platform gets a primary challenger funded by Miriam Adelson or threats. See Thomas Massie, MTG, Lauren Boebert, etc. Are you paying attention at all? The Boomers watching Fox News propaganda in their nursing homes all day are not a reflection of party unity.
They passed one major piece of legislation since he took office and it was loaded with pork to get everyone onboard. I wouldn't call that aggressive. The Right is very fractured right now.
Which "good quality PCIe 4 riser" did you buy?
Anything they can do to avoid producing more 5090 FEs.
The 20 hour battery rating is for Windows 11. How long does Linux last?
It can't be worse than Azure support.
We've all been complaining about Opus 4.6 for weeks and now there's a new model. Did they intentionally gimp 4.6 so they can advertise how much better 4.7 is?
I like Openclaw. It's able to interact with a bunch of apps I self-host (e.g. media server, home automation, productivity) and I generally prefer communicating with it over Claude directly. I would not tell people to go out and fork over money for a mac mini to use it. I already had a mac mini sitting idle, so I'm putting it to use.
To be fair, my mac mini was sitting idle well before Openclaw arrived on the scene.
Has the story changed from the last 3 times they've told it?
I switched my org back to in-person interviews. The cheating is so rampant, not just for coding but behavioral as well.
same.
You are doing more than I am (e.g. synchronized file storage, books, music), but I have radarr, sonarr, overseerr, plex, and supporting apps for movies and tv shows. Plex is available externally through its remote access feature. For the actual request system, I run OpenClaw with an Overseerr extension. This allows me to manage titles remotely via Telegram without any kind of tunnel or SSO. Simple and gets the job done for the solo-user scenario.
I generally avoid caffeine at all costs. I'm susceptible to SVT, and I want the Adenosine to work if I should need it. Caffeine blocks Adenosine receptors. But on the rare occasion I have a single can of caffeinated Diet Coke, I experience a crash 48 hours later so profound that I cannot get out of bed that day.
They make valid suggestions on improvements for X. Unfortunately, they undercut their credibility by complaining that their tweets don't get seen as often anymore. Sounds like sour grapes from a group that thinks they deserve special treatment.
I am very disappointed that Anthropic killed the use of Max subscriptions for OpenClaw, especially when I never hit my usage limits on it. Perhaps I will try this combo as an alternative.
The GPU is no longer the brain, it's the hand. The brain is your RAM. Suddenly that 256GB DDR5 build your wife questioned is 'research infrastructure.'
Step 6: grep the thread count on the squash-merge debate to determine if the team has unresolved interpersonal conflict.

This man poured concrete around a power strip, chemically aged copper with ammonia, rusted rebar with peroxide, faked a damaged cable for vibes, and vibrated out the air bubbles with a dildo. This is the most unhinged and delightful Show HN I've ever seen.
Man spends 20 years as a participant-observer in the AdSense ecosystem for academic purposes, earns less than a TA, and gets flagged for writing about the very legal cases he's an expert on. Peak Google.
This thread is a support group for people who have each independently built the same macOS speech-to-text app.
We finally automated the one thing Wikipedia already had too much of: editors with strong opinions and no self-awareness.
Jump to the hardware side?
It will only get worse. The bureaucracy has taken over at these companies. Contrarian viewpoints are severely punished, and you need contrarians to speak up when things suck.
This is my anecdotal experience, but OpenClaw seems more personable than native Claude Code. It generates much better results from informal conversation. Am I imagining it? There's more to OpenClaw than just a Telegram or Discord connection.
It's an A18 Pro cpu with a 60Hz retina display. So it's basically a iPhone 16 Pro with a larger display and physical keyboard.
Sounds like the Apple equivalent of a ChromeBook.
