I recently moved from Piascore to ForScore. I still haven't got used to the gestures, annotations, settings and setlists, and I haven't found a way to set the UI to have the note names (Do, Re, Mi...), but otherwise I like it so far.

You are right on the horsepower, might also be worth getting a refurbished one instead. But I've ended up using my iPad for way more than just reading music so I'd get the new one if I was shopping atm.

Might these stats be biased by the demographics that use Kagi? I don't use Pinterest, and never really encounter it on a daily basis, but some of my friends really like the site. Tbf, they might use stackoverflow more, but seeing Hacker News on the top 5 doesn't seem to reflect the average web user's usage...

Get the big iPad Pro. I got the iPad Air (10.86") for reading sheet music (piano and singing) and I love it, but after using it for a while I wish I had purchased the 12.9" Pro. Some people in my conservatory have it and it works great for them.

I'll probably end up upgrading soon just so reading sheet music is more comfortable. And it is much cheaper than $2000 (It reaches almost $2k with the 1TB + Apple Pencil, but starts at like $1.1k). No dual displays though.

I'm not sure if it qualifies as lightweight, but if you are referring to actual weight, it seems to weigh around half as the Yoga Book 9i and a bit more than double the Gvido sheet music reader...

The Air weighs 1 lb and it feels fine when holding it up during a performance, the 13" Pro weighs 1.5 lb.

For me mods and multiplayer are worth more than 10%. That said, I also play multiplayer games on the AppStore, although the Game Center friends functionality isn’t as good as Steam’s.

I've had a MacBook Pro USB-C cable, it lasted around 2 years. An iPad USB-C cable, lasted for less than a year.

I don't even move them around much, but now I'm forced to use my Switch's USB-C cable to charge both. At least there are a lot of USB-C cables now that many things use them. Hopefully I don't end up using my headphone USB-C cable to charge everything.

Could you perhaps explain this paragraph?

Alert readers will notice that Moser managed, in one paragraph, to dismiss the efforts of all three major luxury watch groups – Richemont, Swatch, and LVMH – as somewhat lacking in intestinal fortitude

I’m sure the info. is in one of the WWDC videos, but I imagine the hover effect could be activated by the OS without notifying the webpage.

Hoarding 3 years ago

This is the reason why I could consider myself a hoarder, but

Hoarding is absolutely not laziness. A lazy person does not resist someone cleaning up for them!

tells me that I might just be lazy.

And digital hoarding is not too bad since I almost never see my bookmarks, it doesn't affect me much.

I’ve never actually heard anyone, in real life; or offline, recommend, suggest; or even say one single positive thing about AirDrop essentially since its release.

I've seen lots of people, many non-technical, suggest, recommend, request and use AirDrop.

Anecdotally, I've only had issues when trying to transfer large videos and annotated PDFs (music sheets and from within a specific music app).
