So do the students have any legal recourse here? Seems pretty invasive and I personally would not comply l possible but I'm not sure that would be an option.
It's not ever the same, that's what qa/staging is for. Paired with ci and good Integration tests it's still works. Simplicity in a local dev env is king.
Cause it's good enough, and we have ci servers and qa environments.
Simplicity is king in local dev.
I hate when my keyboard hangs and because I'm connected but dns isn't working. Like I need internet for my keyboard. So so frustrating has me seriously considering bailing to some nix flavor if this shit continues.
If you do the Microsoft way. But i find their batteries included approach to be broken more often than not. Tried deploying a docker image with cors on azure. Literally could not do it because of bugs and the gsc that they were intercepting cors packets. Opened up 3 bugs took Months to fix one. It's a tire fire.
So effing stupid. Every company/ vendor has automatic call recording but the prescience is that I as an individual am too much of a child to take legal liability for recording.. Infuriating. I pay for ring central just so I can record my calls. Even they want to give a warning prompt, had to customize the warning to be an empty message.
He talked to support first, they didn't have a bounty program until a year+ after the incident.
Hope you cited that incident as part of your reason leaving.
It's also a product if writing good laws is really hard because the people writing them are outside the industry, different from the people enforcing them, and often different from the people it affects.
Better to remove barriers and things that silo and centralize power.
Def wouldn't be fun due to one video card pass through. You would have to remote in and swap pass through or just use one without gpu
Yes
Mostly agree with you but MacBook pro speakers are better than most tvs builtins these days.
Also for whatever reason the desktop screen market doesn't know about retina style high ppi displays. It's a shame, same with dropping 16:10.
You are still assuming 5000 years of sustained practices have health benefits..
Or use something lightweight and configurable like https://github.com/a8m/rql to just handle filters.
The two are not mutually exclusive. Dapper provides types safety cleanly and imo is more readable than ef. Ef is heavy, requires trading to understand and is a giant pain if you need to implement performant sql.
I have come to the same conclusion as the author.
In go I use rql: https://github.com/a8m/rql
Which I ported to c# for use in .NET: https://github.com/Ashtonian/RQL.NET
I keep telling people the only solution is to get rid of the but nobody listens..
... When the charge should have been dropped instead as the prosecutor and sheriff were both handed binding legal docs.
That's funny considering that Google was literally trying to build housing for its employees and the Gov blocked them because nimby. Blaming the tech industries for California's terrible idea of governance is pretty laughable. The state would be bankrupt if not for the valley.
Right cause knock offs can't fake rfid.
Problem with this argument is yielding liberty.. It doesn't work.
Unfortunately you are not the target audience
Who knew ?
I learned doing ACSL exercises on paper starting in middle school. We had excercices for things like Boolean algebra, graph theory, base conversion ect. As well as 5 hacker rank style programming questions throughout the semester, in addition to our more regular CS coursework. Teacher made us keep an organized notebook with printouts of all our excercices/tests ect. Thought it was rediculous and old school but wasn't even 5 years before I looked back with gratitude. Learned the fundamentals needed to get me through 2/300 level courses at college. The teacher was amazing and in large part the reason I'm remotely successful today. There were 13 - 20 kids each year that took more then the intro courses. He would always treat us like family, and would do things like have us all meet after school once a year in fancy clothing for a "mock" fancy meal. It was so he could teach us (some autistic) how to be proper at a dinner and which fork is used for what. He taught us how to be skilled programmers and also people. Random middle of nowhere public high school in PA, very grateful. The teacher was deathly terrified of birds tho.
Location location location.
You seem to be asserting that the land value is arbitrary simply because it's located in a different area. The value is higher because the land is a lot more useful/productive / accessible/developed. You can't just wipe all that value away.
Even if it was sooooo what? people are able to leverage the property and earn more money on it, because it's worth more because somebody is going to pay it. Of course they are going to do that one way or another despite regulation. And they should they are creating more for the economy. If you can't afford to live/work somewhere that's life ? Why on Earth should somebody else subsidize your costs to live there.
That being said I'm sure there are some anti competitive laws/regulations creating problems but the solution is not more bad regulations.
IP law in this country need to go away. It doesn't help the market as a whole, it doesn't encourage content creation it encourages legal spending and manipulation.
You shouldn't get paid for having and idea you should get paid and be excited to create content to be first to market and have an consumer base. If somebody can come along and do it better there should be no legal barriers. The result is a highly competitive iterative market that grows exponentially and benefits the consumer. The only protections should be around branding ie you say you are who you are. Everything else can be accomplished with trade secrets. This is especially true when you consider the world is shrinking and the lvels of control are local only. So all of your competitors abroad are benefiting from it while locally we waste millions arguing in court over who is allowed to bring product to market. It creates things like the epi pen markup. There was an alternative, cheaper within a few days but they were blocked from marketing and change the applicator to avoid a broad patent on it.
Also would like to point out that there is a reason why patents and io don't exist in some of the oldest markets (food/clothing). Because otherwise there would be no industry or growth. They live on brand protection and secrets..
You can't steal information
If you can't make abstractions in golang without generics your programming wrong.
Wish all the cc companies would do this with their numbers. Some do.
