Tangential, but the line saying: "smiles are always free" reminds me of the often overlooked cost of emotional labour performed especially by the service industry. We should also acknowledge this small thing.

Hello, World!

I am an experienced full stack developer currently pursing my master's in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Here's my deal: I am young, I am just out of university, but I also have experience building distributed systems at scale. I understand the challenges but I also possess the passion and curiousity to give a 110% to my work. I am open to any and all industries.

I see myself as a jack of all trades with extensive experience with frontend, backend and platform engineering. I aim to use my engineering skills to build powerful applications for my users, and use the best technology for the job.

Regards, Aashish Nehete

I'm assuming the limitation of 10K per month has more to do with their small cloud infrastructure budget than the actual database. Saying that, I can agree that intutively, a webserver can have slower performance than a traditional database but it would be interesting to see some benchmarks.

Hey, I am pursuing my Master's in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst seeking Summer or Fall Internships / Co-ops for 2023. I'm also open to full-time jobs from January 2023. I have experience building developer firendly tooling to improve the scalability and realiability of large distributed systems in the cloud. I'm looking to explore a range of software engineering roles so am open to any position.

Personal opinion on video v/s text channel. While watching a video, I have to follow a linear path, I can't skip much incase I miss some context. On the other hand, its easier to skim written content.

True all these tools together can be used for building an alternative interface, but the company actually have APIs so that external services are able to integrate into their ecosystem. All the APIs are meant to be used together but each service can choose the API they see fit.

Maybe you just didn't get the point, or are you trying to be sarcastic too?

How much ever we talk about the engineering and technological aspects of this. I think this project still warrants a discussion into the intricacies of the human psychology that goes behind a city/township. Basically, the UI/UX of this whole project.
