I'm assuming the limitation of 10K per month has more to do with their small cloud infrastructure budget than the actual database. Saying that, I can agree that intutively, a webserver can have slower performance than a traditional database but it would be interesting to see some benchmarks.

Personal opinion on video v/s text channel. While watching a video, I have to follow a linear path, I can't skip much incase I miss some context. On the other hand, its easier to skim written content.

Maintaining a Wiki or any sort of extensive note taking operation requires a lot of dedication and I guess practice? Do you have any tips for someone who wants to start out? Is there a smaller step that one could take initially?

I can understand that people may perceive VS Code and WebStorm as alternatives. Though, as rightly pointed out by the author, the former is an editor while the latter is an IDE. The whole post just says that in 10 different redundant ways.

True all these tools together can be used for building an alternative interface, but the company actually have APIs so that external services are able to integrate into their ecosystem. All the APIs are meant to be used together but each service can choose the API they see fit.

How much ever we talk about the engineering and technological aspects of this. I think this project still warrants a discussion into the intricacies of the human psychology that goes behind a city/township. Basically, the UI/UX of this whole project.

Actually, Java was my first language too. And I still don't regret learning programming using Java. How much ever I love JS, I wouldn't have traded it for Java.

Mumbai University curriculum goes from C to Java (actually its more of Object Oriented Methodology) and then we have a separate subject for Computer Organisation and Architecture. This is in 3 contiguous semesters. By the end, we know from low-level to high-level.

I agree. Although JS is a powerful language, it is not suitable to teach in an introductory environment. How about C? It makes the student grasps not only logical constructs but also introduce a portion of computer organisation and architecture.
