I was interested in a server, but the website does not mention how much storage or any details at all really. Anyone happen to know where to find that info?

Just to add a dissenting voice to the conversation, I recently attempted to transfer some money with transferwise and they refused just after I had uploaded all of my ID etc. In the end I went with worldremit and they were much easier to deal with. Slightly more expensive but I'd choose that over the hassle of tw.

I live in Japan. "Washing hands is common" this is incorrect. Most bathrooms do not have soap and many people do not wash their hands.

"People listen and obey to their government" This is also not true, many hanami events have been cancelled but there were actually more people out viewing yesterday than last year. I am relatively sure the turnout will be higher than last year to many of the parks.

Looks like Qubes make you pay to get certified: https://puri.sm/posts/ "The costs involved, requiring a supplementary technical consulting contract with Qubes/ITL (as per their new Commercial Hardware Goals proposal document), are not financially justifiable for us."

I'd just like to say thank-you for writing about what happened to you. I am going to be much more careful about my contacts from now on. I also use dailies, never for > 24hrs. But I didn't dry my hands and used them in the shower occasionally. Not any more.

Artists at my work still use 3ds max. Despite it crashing every 5 minutes, being slow, having less features, costing infinitely more, having zero support, terrible documentation, compatibility issues... I could go on. I show them blender and they immediately don't like it because the shortcuts are different.

I'm looking for a contracting position in London or remote. I have 8+ years of c/c++ experience and 6+ years experience of graphics programming/optimisation/research. Recently I have been involved in Vulkan, OpenGL ES and in-development extensions for drivers on Android. I also have games industry console experience as-well as exoteric embedded devices.

Maybe you need help porting your game to Vulkan or are looking for someone to help profile/optimise your rendering on mobile?

Check the blog post after Wednesday, there are some things we cannot say yet.

The demos is slightly unrealistic yes and you could use multi draw indirect. But you would not be able to use multiple cores with that. As for moving objects, you would really just need to handle the objects moving between tiles and pass the animation matricies in the right places. It was thought about, but we didn't have time to implement.
