That's an interesting idea for an email digest actually.
Thanks!

Thanks!
At this point we're testing the concept and seeing whether people are interested in having their most memorable FB/IG etc photos sent to them in physical form.
Btw, Strikingly (not affiliated with us) is a great tool for creating nice looking one-page sites. Recommend checking it out!
thanks! Fixed it.
Would love to get some feedback on whether you'd use this service, or any ideas around it!
Interesting title. I thought it was going to be about the Twitter snatching!
Nonetheless, great lessons around communication / teamwork.
Summify user here. Loved their iPhone app and it felt like the quality of news delivered got better over time. It wasn't just about the frequency of links in my twitter feed (or else I'd get a bunch of crap), but it allowed me to like certain posts and it tracks which topics I'm most interested in.
I'm also looking for news more than once a day to stay relevant. Summify delivered summaries every 6 hours for me - if you could incorporate this in your service, that'd be awesome.
Great work evolving the product from where it was a few months ago!
So awesome. Used them during our beta testing too and it was seamless.
Great stuff!
Excited to see what comes out of this program! I believe they're putting out applications for their 2nd intake around November
I think it all depends on the type of industry. Each industry has different types of angels.
RIM forgot it's target market. Their ads are showing too many teens/family - gotta focus on their business market, and be the best at that.
because.
Awesome. Are there any competitors?
Great! Keep us updated on how it goes

Pretty much.
We're going to have an awesome backend that the site administrator can take a look at all flagged content and choose to delete it or not.
We're going the embeddable code route and we're going to experiment to have sites provide their own custom content ids.
It could be abused, but so could your own manual flagging system. We'll be giving priority flagging content to users who do a good job @ flagging content (like karma).
Any thoughts on helping shape the product?
Released our Beta a couple weeks ago, and just put out another iPhone app update that fixes a few things.
Feedback from HN community is appreciated!
Congrats!
very funny ahha. Cool project.
Feels like there's no hook. One time use, and that's it.
awesome! Are users picking it up?
Looks good! Simple app that'll get users.. not too sure how much though. What're your plans to grow it?
Brendan knows what he's talking about. Met him on his recent trip to Vancouver and he definitely know what can get an investors attention.
Well written post, with tactical notes. Will definitely be using his advice.
Great story from Vancouver!
Good article, but it's not all about Media attention.
I agree with the "Get Noticed" portion, but you may be able to get noticed from targeted marketing within a niche. If you target a core group of potential customers/users, even cold calling or getting involved in their community will get you noticed. If you have a good enough product, it'll "get noticed" through word of mouth, rather than Media Attention, which is a much better way of getting noticed.
Great story.
I echo the point of Stepping Away. Stepping away from something you've built must be as hard as even committing yourself to build something.
