On quantum interferometer, I’ve always wondered if you could use it for navigation in space. Say you send a probe to another system. Navigating the uncharted system with precise gravity measurements that also expose its kinematics would be handy.
My Daikin is near instant, even when near freezing outside. The compressor is yuge though, so maybe that’s why.

Also check out https://brighte.com.au/ for an interest free loan for this stuff. backed by Michael Cannon-Brookes.
10kW on the roof and a Sanden heat pump hot water set to only run 9-5. I get credit from the Energy Australia for all the summer months which I spend on on the AC heat pump in winter. 25 year warranty on the panels and 20 on the micro inverters. The economics stack up.
Things are changing rapidly now (including the climate). Buckle up.
How can this be legal?
I saw a talk of yours on side projects. It was pretty inspiring. Did you build this with those same principals?
The tech boom is over. Now we should incentivise the restoration of the environment to keep both the economy afloat and us breathing.

Murdered with words. I have to admit to more than a little schadenfreude. Future generations would likely want to sent back time cops to arrest crypto miners for their egregious waste of energy.

So they’re fascists basically.
This is starting to sound like the “Rim States” from the science fiction novel Black Man (Thirteen) by Richard K. Morgan. Basically the blue and red states separate in the future because they couldn’t resolve their differences. The blue states go on to prosper and the red states languish.
It struck me how plausible it sounded when I read it. Now with the commander in shit-the-bed Donald Trump and the rising tide self-destructive behaviour, it’s looking like a good option to me.

hahaha… oh god. This place is such an echo chamber…
This flew under the radar for me but AWS has “a long-term commitment to achieve 100% renewable energy usage for our global infrastructure footprint.”
John McAfee’s is hilariously good.
Next post needs to say:
“Only an idiot would still be using Gulp.js – Broccoli is the new hotness”

Got my first job from that board sniff
If you’re forced to lie you only say what you’re obliged to say. Normally when companies face PR crises they release full page press releases full of fluffy assurances and marketing speak.
The terseness of each of these all but confirms it.
sigh Another non-standards-based IoT device for the short sighted and excitable Kickstarter crowd. An equivalent to the level of interoperability that the web introduced is coming to the IoT space. These proprietary things are and most certainly will become junk.
The Pearson VUE exam driver is pretty solid (Java). But I agree, all the ColdFustion stuff Pearson does is very stinky. VUE was an acquisition I believe.
All good until your clients want it to behave the same in IE. Then you have to do ten times the work (hash changes, jQuery animations to replace CSS transitions, etc.)

Still, the end results are sweet.
I started doing crossfit about 3 months ago and absolutely love it.
Being a global and pretty standardised thing there are gyms all around the world you can attend. Despite the language barrier you still know what to do. For instance I am in Tokyo currently and about to go here: http://chikaracrossfit.com/ If I were in Denmark then I’d love to drop in here: http://butcherslab.dk/
Just as being a developer allows you to network globally, crossfit does too.
Thanks, that's a very good point. I'll make it happen.
