Run the game in the cloud, stream to the VR. The more you pay for cloud computing, the better your graphics. Why no company is doing that already?

A technology like Google Stadia will probably solve this. Nobody will need a expensive hardware to run it. The graphics will be generated in cloud computing and streamed to the VR. Keep creating hardwares to run better graphics is a dead end.
What's the chance of having a cancer after using it?
Very interesting invention though.

things in Brazil are getting really weird.. most ministers and politicians started to use alt-right vaporwave meme aesthetics on their social media profiles, even though this is a clearly neonazi joke
A ten year old technology named Blockchain could solve this problem.

Email: pbuenoalmeida @ gmail.comJust another fancy token... not a real currency. The only global digital currency that has a future is bitcoin.
Well, clearly not an exponential growth.
The bitcoin software is not the same as before, updates have happened in the meantime. Now, 40% of all transactions happening are SegWit transactions, a lighter format which enables the network to handle a higher volume of transactions simultaneously. SegWit transactions are also cheaper in terms of fees.
So, the number of transactions can exceed the previous high without colapsing the confirmation time or fees.
The technology still evolving. 10 transactions is not and will not be the limit. The Lightning Network already proved that a much higher volume of bitcoin transactions can be made without slowing down the bitcoin network.
I like to think the energy consumption of the bitcoin network is an "idle energy":
10 transations/s = mid-size country
100 transations/s = mid-size country
10.000 transations/s = mid-size country
An increase in transations do not directly increase energy consumption.
Bitcoin on-chain transactions are almost on its historical peak again:

This forum has been denying bitcoin since the first time someone posted about it:

Any ideas about where the users (twitter/facebook) are going to? What these users that are not on twitter anymore are doing instead?
bitcoin's value is not important in the long run because the block reward (number of bitcoins created every 10 minutes) drops every 4 years and eventually go to zero by 2140. More people using bitcoin will definitely attract more energy in the short run, but the energy alocated to mine bitcoin is not going to consume the whole world as some people say. The increase of energy consumption by bitcoin miners will probably look like a sigmoid function in the far future.
The scalabity problem was partly solved by the introduction of the Lightning Network in the ecosystem https://lightning.network/
If everybody stops using fiat money and switch to bitcoin, the consumption of energy will be the same by miners, but the consumption per transaction will be much lower.
if we use even 1% of all computing power that is currently being used for internet memes, what can it be used to accomplished?
If the bitcoin price was increasing linearly people would not be blaming the technology so much. Rapid exponential growth followed by abrupt decline in repeated cycles makes people confused.
Nostalgia and technology should'nt walk together.

Its authors will receive a one-time retention of 20% (2 million) of the initial MTN supply.
Need to say anything else? Sounds really shady to me.. Anyway, the Sidechain Project which is in development by the Blockstream team is supposed to do that, but above the bitcoin protocol itself, not in a 'new coin'.
Deposits are blocked. You can't deposit money in the exchange to start the arbitrage.
This article is very old. Bitcoin reward is 12.5 bitcoins per block and BTC Guild is long time gone. Nonetheless, very interesting and helpful to understand the mechanics.
"As a result, Google's comparison shopping service is much more visible to consumers in Google's search results."
Well, that makes sense.
