May I add, the redesigned YouTube app on iOS is horrendous. These UI regressions have to catch up to Google eventually, right?

If you have an Apple Watch, that is a must since there's no Gmail watch app. Checking email on the Watch is surprisingly useful.

Apple makes money on hardware, making mail better on iOS won't really attract more Android users to switch IMO.

The last thing Google wants is to lose your personal data. They don't want you deleting anything.

This is exactly right. I had detailed knowledge of an acquisition and all media articles about it were so completely wrong that it was offensive.

So now who do you trust? This guy (whom I know nothing about) or the several media articles (whose writers and sources I know nothing about)? This is the problem with how news is delivered in our age. Back in the day, you primarily just knew the news of your town, and to verify the claims you could walk over to the subjects and ask them.

This article is saying that was not the case. The company was failing already and so understandably the top talent went elsewhere, such as Apple.

Wow, that was really not as bad as I thought.

I had her for a class a few years ago, and like Coward, she was an excellent teacher who didn't care for the norms of the department. She was actually working on a new textbook at the time which was all about teaching the fundamentals of mathematics in a completely different way to give a better foundation for higher level mathematics. At the time, she had just taken a small group of non-STEM majors, and using her book, got them to graduate level math in just 1.5 years. Sadly I haven't seen the book released, but one can only hope the work of these talented individuals will not be hindered by silly politics.

The economic benefit of vastly improving data speeds across the country far out weighs the costs of improving the network. As the tech capital of the world, the US should not be #10 in LTE coverage.
