Just adding an atomic() context manager fixed it.

ok looks like you are intimately familiar with the code that is being produced and are AI as code generator rather than pure vibe coding. That makes sense to me.

Btw did AI add that line when you explained what the error was or did you add that in manually.

he said RL sucks because it narrowly optimizes to solve a certain set of problems in certain sets of conditions.

he compared it to students who win at math competition but cant do anything practical .

how many prompts did it take you to make this?

how did you make sure that each new prompt didn't break some previous functionality?

did you have a precise vision for it when you started or did you just go with whatever was being given to you?

how could his sister convince the teacher she had actually written the essay herself?

She can't because she didn't write the essay herself, obviously.

it was fine to say this is something new and ppl should maybe look at it. but strongly recommending its and calling it wild is not a nuanced opinion. esp given you have not actually used it yourself in any serious way. is it really that big a ask to only use hype words for things you've actually used and made a big difference to you.

edit: looks like my comments crossed into personally attacking you . i apologize for it.

Qualified and interested candidates should email their cover letter, resume, and compensation requirements to engineering@readworks.org.
looks like your inbox is flooded and not accepting mail anymore.

always feel silly writing coverletters and then email doesn't go through :)

So CEOs of successful companies have a job to do, and that job is to ensure that nothing happens. But people's natural inclination is to do things, and if they aren't doing things inside your company they will probably be doing things outside your company that risk toppling it. So you put one section of the company to work digging holes, and put the other section to work filling them in, and now everybody is happy and productive and yet there's no net external change to your company's position.

i work at a large music streamer and this perfectly describes my workplace. when i was outside i never understood why that company needs thousands and thousands of ppl to run what looks like stagnant product that hasn't changed much in years.
