Couldn’t they simply use an encryption algorithm that has two private keys and they control one?

Mm, I'll wait for Brutus' release.
I was anonymous within my business for quite some time (~$X,XXX,XXX/ARR). It got to the point where my demos/sales calls would begin to question why they can't find anything about me online, for instance, "Why should my business trust you? I can't find anything about you?".
At a certain point I had come to a realization that things operate a certain way for 99% of people and companies and being contrarian doesn't help. If you want to win you need to play their game and that may mean having a public presence and playing on their playing field (that field may be LinkedIn, Github and other common fields).
I will say you don't have to become an influencer asshat which is what I want to avoid at all costs. You don't need to be "famous" and build a following of any kind. I focus my time on networking and building trust within my domain.
Looks like fun. Too bad you can't sign up anonymously or simply with a username and password. What a shame.
Can someone explain this vtoon trend to me? It doesn't seem to be driven by anonymity because their real name is easily findable, so I assume it's something else? It seems very common, especially in certain communities.
Is fitting the index in ram really that important? Obviously it is fast, but if you can get away with storing it on a fast disk like an nvme gen4 then why not?
Maybe I'm crazy, but I kind of hope all of these crypto scammers/swindlers go down and from the ashes Satoshi rises again, as if he knew the swindlers were coming ever since Wikileaks adopted crypto and he left.
My suggestion is to go for it.
With that being said, do take the time to examine the git commit messages and code itself.
I have certainly caught myself from publishing projects that contained words or jokes that would not go over well in 2022 :)
I have been using Vim for 20 years. I have tried other editors and even gave them a fair try (1+ months of use) but always end up back in vim.
Or a covert ad for the substack.. given their only other submission was the substack. Either way it doesn't really matter, it was a fair post and brought up an interesting idea of stealth browsers though I don't think they work all that well.
Any tips/code examples for your webkit solution(s)? Where does one begin with using webkit for scraping?
I think using anti-fingerprinting is itself a fingerprint. I imagine it would be easier to hide in the noise of regular browsers.
Seems like a fairly shallow (content marketing fluff) substack to be honest. There are better places to follow, like: https://www.trickster.dev/post/
That's fair-- if it's in a package, looks, smells and tastes like bacon it's probably bacon :)
That's not true-- you can buy uncured bacon. It's simply "uncut pork belly" which many companies turn into bacon.
We buy our pork belly direct from a farm and it hasn't been touched with anything.
"Ruined your life" is a bit dramatic, eh? It's a messenger. Perhaps you're putting too much weight into both of them.
Fair enough, but there's a huge gap between vaccines and products like Raid Shadow Legends and Snuggies.
I wanted the network-- not the money.
Couldn’t it have been an early mining client that was custom built? Why satoshi?
Likewise, you can fail to get into YC with a product. I applied with a product that has made over 2 million and has zero employees or funding and was not accepted.
Freedom. Freedom to work when I want, if I want, on whatever I want, or not at all.
Not dealing with people, offices or maintaining any kind of professional image.
Not sure what to call it, but a sort of liberation knowing I don’t rely on a company or external force to make my way through this life. A sort of stability and certainty I guess.
I was just bit by this. I found an old friends channel and he has like daily uploads for 12 years and I was trying to find the start of the videos and I sure as hell didn’t want to scroll down through years of uploads…
Anyone find other SBCs as an alternative? Curious if anyone has been using the Khadas line up of SBCs instead...
I used to borrow a friends book and photo copy the entire book. It wasn’t ideal but it was often an order of magnitude cheaper than buying those crappy books.
Because Github is a company I have no control over, like Sourcehut, Gitlab and others? The fundamental problem is, "Do I hand over control to entity X?" and I am leaning more heavily towards no than I was previously.
True, but Sony may be looking for an excuse to no longer support older consoles and this could be that excuse.
The only time I have ever been "proud" of my work is when I began making money on a service I built as a side project.
Knowing I built something people found useful and were willing to pay for was a big moment for me. The day I quit my full time job and worked on my own service full time was a big moment in my life.
I was recently considering moving to Sourcehut or Github after self hosting using gitrc for over a year. I have been going back and forth over self hosting versus leveraging an existing service, but this news and fumblings over Gitea last week have pretty much put me right back into self hosting..
I see this as a good excuse to no longer be backwards compatible by Sony.
Open the case and use a leaf blower.
My decision to use gitrc over gitea is looking better and better…
