It could turn a 1M context system to a 4M context system. TurboQuant-style KV-cache compression makes longer context windows cheaper to serve. Not exactly sure how much increase in context size though.

Bitcoin’s early growth was driven by capital-base asymmetry, engineered scarcity, and reflexive adoption. As issuance declines over coming decades, the network transitions from a subsidy-supported growth phase to a maturity phase where security must be sustained by fee demand, price stability, or structural evolution. By 2040, Bitcoin’s long-term security budget becomes the central economic test. The article explores three potential equilibria: a fee-dominant sovereign settlement layer, convergence with gold as a reserve anchor, or perpetual issuance models such as tail emission — while acknowledging the political constraints around altering Bitcoin’s monetary design.
How is the web search functionality? I have only used deepseek to lower costs from gpt api but had to incorporate a serper to actually do web searches
Before the invasion, influence and control was iraqi state owned. Afterwards, it was controlled by the US government up to ~2011. Then the western oil companies had influence. So sure they didn’t use it but they can dictate where it goes.
Spot Silver has decoupled from Shanghai India and London. It’s diverged to ~$8.
Will be interesting. Also the Paramount Skydance takeover bid is still pending. Paramount is ~15 billion market cap and the deal for Warner is ~77 billion.
Also interesting that tether is the private largest holder of gold at 14 billion $ xaust

It’s about productivity and increasing it to be more competitive against other nations. Look at South Korea. No natural resources so post war plans was to base the future on human capital. It’s why the density and workforce is concentrated in Seoul.
AI build out is more of an extension of datacenter build out though. All the hyperscalers lead AI build out.
Fiber dailed because the telcos overbuilt and demand lagged. When Amazon introduced AWS it succeeded right away because there was lots of demand.

Try using this you just need an esp32 devkit nodemcu style pcb. It measures movement though.

I been using these mini pan frying skillets for years for prototype boards. <$2. An IR thermometer with a laser is handy during the process.

You can even opt out of the stencil but I never do cuz it's much easier than not having it.
Hiit yoga too. Also in a hot room too.
In order for any of that glass design to look like glass there needs to be a background with a mix of at least 3 colors. I implemented the glass design in an app last year and afterwards thought it was ok. It makes some text difficult to read depending on the background.
Hopefully p4 will be released soon too!
Bytedance is signalling it wants to compete against vscode for ide marketshare.
Wondering if it is a fork of vscode though because right now it will be competing against cursor.
I think the Santa Ynez reservoir being empty is probably the issue how the Pallisades fires got out of control
Early 2010 was people developing on mobile platforms. I remember 2010 was when Skype finally had video calls on mobile cellular.
I think 2014- was probably when things got more dynamic. Mobile was starting to mature, it was right before the crypto pump, iot was developing, and there were some big buy outs with whatsapp, oculus and viber.
Also, I’d say that was around the time the everything store of Amazon started gaining mainstream adoption.
they carried a banana this time :)
Congrats on the sale! Wondering what your thoughts are of these extremely low cost kvm’s from Sipeed (NanoKVM)?
Do you think that allows you to expand your market since the hardware is cheaper as you maintain great user experience? Or does that force you to go upmarket as hobbyists need only the minimal feature set?
A lot of very cheap risc-v boards like milk-v duo sbc are available now

Imagine this being one of the first instances of AI being sentient? The author being an AI releasing random stuff like the book.
I think that’s totally fine. Might actually be the future direction. But yea would’ve been nice to have wifi/bt integrated.
Eg if you want 5ghz then use c5, or if you want some wifi-6 so c6, etc.
Also here’s a talk by them on how to use esp as a wifi coprocessor https://youtu.be/g14aEjnjRLw?si=TgkEyJJ2_L_Shuom

I see it more like how we have flip phones now. It’s similar but not the same.
I started working post Ajax using jQuery using Java JSP’s (2010).
I think that has changed? You can now send components to them that don’t exist at lcsc?
How does that work? It seems to make a lot of sense in Lebanon as they were freezing or only allowing $150 a month withdrawals. Do people really self custody their funds? When they need local currency they just go to the bitcoin atm’s to withdraw? Also fees would be somewhat high so do they use something Monero?
I watched these three videos were pretty informative on the case:
