For people in the developed world with good technology infrastructure, yes. But it's also quite inconsiderate to tell people to upgrade their dataplan (which for some people might be a financial limit) instead of trying to think of better ways to reduce cruft and unnecessary data transfers.

I don't use it for all my transactions but the reporting of balance/spending history is a really nice feature, as well as the instant notifications.

Just a note — when trying to register an account the form rejects my email, but got an activation email after 1-2 minutes anyway. Which also, out of sheer confusion led me to probably double-register under different usernames and multiple email-addresses.
Edit: but other than that — looks promising. Will keep an eye on it.
Hey,
If you'd need someone looking into UX, UI and front-end work on this, shoot me an email (contact information in my profile). I work within the fields of digital design and would be very interested in giving a helping hand for a project like this.
24yo self-taught webdev here as well, recently relocated to the UK from Sweden and left everything back home. If you'd like to grab a beer sometime, shoot me an email (it's in my profile).
I could just click on the overlay and the login-box disappeared.
