I never liked Agenda (Persisted delayed task queue using MongoDB). This example[1] using Deno Queues & KV is easy enough to be a replacement for Agenda.

Render. As easy as Heroku and migration was easy due to github based deployment. Cost should be same as using $7 instances in both. 3 tiny apps with 10K hits/day. All using Node.

I just use a private WordPress instance with minimal theme. WordPress has fairly good Mobile admin app. Quite close to a cross platform solution. However, I wish iCloud notes had photo upload feature to make it true cross platform.

I built a project with Express, custom authentication, Turbolinks/StimulusJS, Mongoose and ended up using the similar approach to Rails anyway.

Really want to try and use Rails for future projects but the magic is just too much for someone new to Ruby/Rails. I had to rewrite the routes with brackets in Rails to understand the working.

I think AdonisJS comes quite close to overcome this.
