I learned about extrepo when trying out LibreWolf. Then I realized theres plenty of stuff on extrepo I could install. No more curl installs or third-party package sources for me mostly.

Beyond Compare. There is nothing like it, even on Linux. I use WinMerge on Windows and vscode on Linux, but Beyond Compare was something else.

I do not see it in the free plan. Per the screenshot in the article, on the bots section I see two toggles - Bot Fight Mode and Block Bots. Below these toggles I see

1. A call to action Upgrade Plan for a Super Bot Fight Mode (pro or business)

2. The link to https://developers.cloudflare.com/bots/plans/ which does not mention (yet) of this new security setting.

I did the same thing regarding Facebook and Twitter. Reddit largely around same time except for the occasional visit to some smaller subreddits. I would be interested to learn why you have quit IRC? HTTrack - a name I hadn't heard in 15 years may be. I used it back then. However, I want to clarify that the thing I set out to build is not about entire site backup, but more of site URL and some metadata, but with local-first approach and self-hostable.

Sync was exquisite I just had to pay for it. Apollo was good, I used it on iPad, but Sync captured well so many of reddit little things like domain browsing, multireddits etc

It looks like they'll be no more free access so every third party app will have to charge a subscription that goes to Reddit (monthly and with no costing provided yet)

My work installed Windows 11 to fix a drivers issue. After 2 days of understanding most of the quirks, I tried installing the same on my personal desktop. The installed failed with some random bsod. It gave me an option to rollback to Windows 10 thankfully. I will stay with 10 for as long I can.
