I really enjoy the workflow of having a rich text editor right in my task manager. And always enjoy playing around with people's unique twist on the to-do list, and this is mine. Curious to hear your feedback about whether this kind of workflow works for you or if anything is missing.
Looks interesting. It would be nice to see something like this for all the communication methods in Beeper unified together. That way all communication is covered rather then just 1 app of many.
Looks good. What framework are you using for the UI?
I'll stick with Snipaste because of the "pinning" feature - which is absolutely key for my workflow. Alongside copy, save etc. there is a "pin" that leaves the screenshot right there as topmost and you can resize it etc.
Also consider offering a download outside of the Microsoft Store? (some workplaces block the store, even if users are allowed to installed software)

progressive deterrence for adding new items
What kind of deterrence are we talking about here?
I use an app for what it wasn't really designed for and has the side effect that after 9 items, stuff get hidden and cannot be shown without deleting other items. I have found it useful. Reaching 9 items becomes a real trigger to realize that I'm trying to handle too much stuff at once.
