I'm glad James Damore's arguments were correctly strawmanned

It's interesting how all base 10 numbers identify as non binary
I can't believe he called normal logarithms 'based'
It's fine if it hallucinates, as long as it sounds overconfident
I don't really think bro dude understands any of the environmental effects of fracking, especially compared to other drilling mechanisms. But it's just a metaphor.
Wow, things operate according to lists of instructions. What a concept.
I got it down to one, and then remembered I'm not a great chess player
Good question, but I'm offended by the egregious misuse of a semicolon. My JIT compilation is throwing an error.
Just let me turn it off to preserve battery life
What about just setting the stores in high income areas to have higher prices?
What if your side-project has a side-project?
I made this acct to hate on MacOS but this is like shooting fish in a barrel
Try exfoliating your wrists with square virtual windows
It's great how apple makes everything so customizable
If only they'd round the edges/corners of the body instead of the screen and the UI
I love it. I mean I hate MacOS, but great project
Absolutely. I went through great lengths to install Asahi on my work M1, only to have most things not work (RTFM). So when one is forced to use MacOS, may it round corners in hell, for work…
Now if we could switch MacOS to use Win/Linux keyboard commands, MacOS wouldn't be so insufferable
I love dithering in a platonic way
I can't believe there's an easy way to revert - that's just bigotry toward MacOS
still can't play doom on them
Cool, make me one without MacOS
I'm glad consumers have a choice. Unlike the ultraprocessed crap they fed us in school.
Not to mention much of long island and the bronx
Nice. But it deters people like me who aren't totally confident in sending reports, trading false positives for false negatives
I improved everything by converting to metric first if the recipe happens to be otherwise, and using metric measuring tools
It would be more straightforward to remove the permutations and just display the combinations and the symmetry between heads and tails. And solve it analytically Eg: if p is the probability that the NPC is correct
P(A|AAAA) = p^4
P(A|BBBB) = (1-p)^4
Anyway, the apparent strangeness of the tie case comes from the fact that the binomial PMF is symmetric with respect to n (the number of participants) and n-k. PMF = (n choose k) * p^k * (1-p)^(n-k)
So when k = n/2, the symmetry means that the likelihood is identical under p and 1-p, so we're not gaining any information. This is a really good illustration of that; interesting post! (edit: apparently i suck at formatting)I clicked on this hoping is was about physical garbage collection
Shear with one component always in the y direction
"...sum of squared distances to the line" would be a better description. But it also depends entirely on how covariance is estimated
