INMHO any company that sells solution completely relying on managed cloud services by these 3 has 2 problems to deal with:

- What happens to the cost of these services when company scales out?

- Whats preventing AWS, AZURE or GCP from copying the stack and selling a new "managed service" which does what you did in the first place?

Seriously, I would like to know? Do people take these into accounts before relying on AWS, Azure or GCP completely?

You are wrong here, mate. If borrow checker prevents mass adoption, I am okay with that. I have dabbled enough problems in poorly written code by "full stack" developers who write code by combining different blog-posts from Medium without any thoughts to underlying memory model, that I am happy that some language feature prevents these folks to take up a Language.

I have suffered from this personally. I was a "smart" kid. I was always top of my class till 10th standard. Everybody called me smart and intelligent. The schoolwork till 10th never challenged me. But when the complexity increase with pre college courses and STEM I was lost because I never had tackled this kind of difficulty before. I went into depression for couple of years. I was saved by Hamming's "You and Your research" and Learning how to learn. I restarted believing and learning again with growth mindset.

I dont know as to why you would infer that I am calling a couple of hundreds of million people racist. I will restate what my assertion is. Identity politics is the political paradigm in India. Majority of the populace in India votes on basis of identity, caste, creed or religion. The linguistic identity of people is the best and only identity politics that is there. Now if reorganisation of Indian states on basis of water considerations will lead to situations were politicians will exploit and portray the reorganisation as imperialistic designs of north Indian hegemonies of Hindi and Hindutva policies even though the policy will be based on water considerations. Add to this the influx of Chinese and Pakistani influences and situation may get worse and we might have a humanitarian crisis on our hand.

And I do reiterate that I am not against linguistic units of governance.

And also this is the worst case scenario but nevertheless a scenario. All depends upon how our politicians portray these to citizens and when it comes to politicians, we never know.

Thats a recipe for political disaster. Identity based politics is the only paradigm of politics in India. Currently southern states in India are organised on linguistic identity and every now and then there are statements from main-stream politicians calling for secession and establishing a separate country to counter the influx for North Indians who are painted as separate racial and ethnic group by these politicians. Breaking up existing units of governance organised on the linguistic identity will add fuel to the fire of separatism and powers like China and Pakistan will be more than happy to assist the separatists movement that starts because of this stupidity. BTW this is the wet dream of Pakistan and China as to India's future. Be noted the human cost a separatist movement will cause. India's bulk of fighting forces is made up by youths from north India. Do this and we have a Syria or Bangladesh with a scale of 1 billion plus people.

North Indian at least now learn south indian languages and improve communication.

Am a North Indian living in Blore. You are right. The thing is there is no incentive to learn Kannada for me. At work everyone speaks English, outside of work too, English does it for me. I have never had the need to learn Kannada in Blore. I found its requirement when I went to Hampi and other than that in Blore itself I never felt handicapped for not being able to speak in Kannada. I know that its my fault, learning local language is always nice to experience local culture, but I have been lazy and English is slowly but certainly replacing all Indian languages.

This. Cabs that are not part of Uber, they just wont agree to take you. I still dont know these drivers rationale behind denying the ride. I understand its their prerogative to refuse a ride, but they do it so often which makes me wonder, how are they making money by refusing rides again and again.

A year of Data backup lost. Do you realize how that alone may cause the clients to dump a company and do you realize that startups may never recover from fiasco like these? Hi there. What would you suggest to a person who loves these kind of stuff (data structures and algorithms) but finds it hard to develop the underlying intuitions for coming up with these data-structure and algorithm? I personally just hammer down on deliberate practice to recognise patterns and underlying concepts to solve as many problems as I can on my own. I was wondering apart from general DS and Algo what topics in Mathematics might supplement this process?
