No strategy here. I though facebook is pretty much ubiquitous. May be I can provide a way to login through twitter as well. I am just asking for basic level of access for FBConnect.

You can simply scroll through the websites. I prefer it that way. BTW you can also access tabs on the left.

I like the game.

I also played with browser history to create something more useful http://bsearch.heroku.com/ i.e. access other search engines by clicking back button while on Google.

I made this tool for my personal use in last few days. I think many of you will also find it useful. Specially StackOverflow, blekko or such exotic search engine users.

The way recording and playback happens, only URL of visited pages is recorded, so you can understand the reason why it was showing latest pages.

I think it should work. If you mean playback did not show it correctly, then I will look into it.

Although there are many apps that let you keep list of things (workflowy, thingist, notational velocity for MAC) it lets you access lists right from search box.

With special syntax (<list name>.<item to add>) you can add items to existing list. Or access existing lists with <list name>. This <list name><dot><item> syntax is optional after first use.

Using it as default search engine is privacy safe and doesn't increase search latency.

Drop area need to be full window. At present it is just one rectangle.

I dropped 2 files and figured it out for third file.

Edit: Also it not immediately obvious that clicking on file copies URL pointing to that file.

But why do scientist should care who wins. Natural laws/evolution will decide the winner. After all everything is governed by rules of nature, and scientist is theoretically just supposed to observe it.

It asks only for email while signing up but asks to loin with either Email/Username.

Interface looks good but even average geek will not use it for more than few days let alone average user. How do you make sure users keep using it for long time?

But what if you access DDG as usual but access Google on clicking on back button. You know you need to access Google sometimes. That customization is planned. Thanks for you feedback.

These kind of weekend projects make me feel insignificant. But then I see that author is on Chrome UI team so he is familiar with technology required (App Engine, Chrome HTML5).

Without that context it is just magic(and even then idea and implementation is great). But I think there must be something many of us can do in a weekend that will look like magic. But it was possible because of months/years of experience.

Orkut has already that feature in recent roll-out
