Maybe it is only my experience, but i feel that languages that were not typed since the begining never work as well as "true" typed ones.

I have not seen the numbers, but even a game running 10% faster does not replace the fact that many games wont even start in Linux (League of Legends for example).

It is insane that you could block access to hundreds of sites just because some people decided to watch an ilegal stream.

Is this even true? I mean, Windows is the main focus for all hardware vendors, and everybody who has owned a PC knows that malfunctions are unavoidable. If that is the case for Windows, then Linux cant be better.

Im thankfull for buying 16gb of RAM, but what is gonna happen in 5 years when users PCs start to fail?

I have seen many cases of Google doing something wrong, but maybe people dont enjoy those emails and they are reporting them as spam?

Is Love2D a decent option for gamedev compared to Godot? I finished a really simple game using Unity3D and it was fun, but it sucks to use a closed source engine.

Fair point. I could have expressed it better, but what I mean is that as long as you install plugins trusted by the community (ACF, WooCommerce, Yoast...), your site should be safe.

Why would anyone dislike markdown when it is so simple to use? My only gripe with markdown is that sometimes i forget how to include links.

Agree. I understand why people like those animations and sometimes even i want to implement these in my website with GSAP, but then i remember that these animations make my content harder to read.

Last year, I decided to leave the small agency where I had worked for almost 6 years because, being a family-owned business, it was terrible for everybody (except for the bootlickers). The first few months were decent, having time to do almost anything, but then I started to feel miserable seeing how my bank account was getting close to empty and not receiving any calls from my job applications. Job searching has to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had, but my blog (alprado.com) was an incredibly therapeutic tool.

I think that it is kinda cool to convert your notes to a website, especially if you want to easily share them. I just created a Shortcut that sends my modified notes to an email address, and then I use Eleventy to build a website. I'm migrating my blog (https://alprado.com/) to a custom solution built with Laravel. I know the HN community appreciates simplicity, but in my opinion, hosting static HTML is almost as easy as hosting PHP. However, PHP gives you the flexibility to build an interactive and optimized CMS.

When I was younger, I used PowerPoint to create pseudo video games that nobody played, and I only did it because they brought me a lot of joy. Today, I do the same thing with blogging.

I recently resigned from my job to work on my own startup, and dealing with the chicken-and-egg problem is challenging. I think your solution is neat.
