How many tokens per second? Also, does it get warm/hot?
Nice! Tried on iPhone 16 pro with 30 TPS from Gemma-4-E2B-it model.
Although the phone got considerably hot while inferencing. It’s quite an impressive performance and cannot wait to try it myself in one of my personal apps.
Ditto. Almost all of my internal tools are built in the same fashion and deployed on cloudflare itself. It is so much liberating to have no overload of CMS and the bloated code they come with.
The another side of the story is that AI literally can subtly justify any thought. Even if that thought is ethically in the grey area.
I fear this will give license to people to act on their thoughts which maybe harmful for them in ways no one can even imagine right now.
Wish the best for Sid! My father was unlucky with his TP53 mutation which resulted in AEL and he passed away suddenly. 100% fit to vanishing away straight in 8 months. It was pretty rough for me especially to see how these doctors (most of them but bot all) are so non-experimental in their attitude.
Sid is right, Staying alive is our own job and definitely what he is doing will give him and his loved ones enough hope to get through this and sometimes he eventually he will get through.
They are probably providing it for free for 1 month.
Good landing page. How do you ensure which posts you ingest from social sites in your database? And which posts you actively ignore for ingestion?
It seems it is not available in India, any specific reason?
Unfortunately, Indian cities top all the dreadful spots on air pollution rankings.
Hopefully the deflation scenario due to technology will help with this shift gracefully. Else, it will be extremely difficult.
But if we had deflation in the economy, how will the investment scenario will Peter out is anyone’s guess.
I wonder The people who invented this financial growth will, why they didn’t thought about this in the long term? I guess, I have asked a question which has quite a generic answer already…
This is just the right dose of motivation required for me now! Deciding to take a break and hopefully end up like this!
Thanks for this! :)
All the free claims of facilities here ONLY exists to support corruption. These free things are not materially helping poor people hence everyone seems to be unhappy. For example, in India it takes almost $700k per km of road construct while in the US, it takes only $120k per km to construct the road.
And when it comes to other attributes like quality of the road, speed of the construction or durability of the road.... It's far worst than the USA.
All the Indian govt programs only exists to support their corrupt contractors and not for helping people genuinely.
Plus one for this.
Absolutely right! This test is hyped. It has abysmally low sensitivity of 16% to detect stage I cancers and overall 44% for cancers of other stages. It is extremely poor sensitivity for any detection test.
How generic these symptoms are! I always wonder if medical science has really attempted to study these diseases to understand their unique symptoms.
I lost my dad at age 62 last year to AML. His generic symptom was weakness.
It's good that people are focusing on detecting such things early but unfortunately the management of any cancer basically falls into two categories - burn it or remove it. Burning maybe done via radiation, chemo etc. And treating liquid malignancies is even difficult.
I lost my absolutely fit and fine father last year to AML. I couldn't do jack shit about it and have this lingering feeling of how archiac the whole medical science - especially the drug discovery is.
No one in medical field is interested to cure any disease. All want to manage it so that pharma can get as many "subscribers" as possible to keep that money flowing in.
And such novel tests is just another mechanism to enroll new subscribers early in the journey to earn money for some more months. That's all.
Definitely interested!
As a funders to almost of these research studies, we also need to introduce some mechanisms which will impart a compounding fear in minds of these criminals as year passes.
Basically a wrong study results over the years may ended up affecting millions (if not billions) of people. Someone(at every level of the chain) should pay a compounding punishment for a verified fraud.
At the same time, this shouldn't prevent a Nobel upcoming scientist being bold. After all, science is all about pushing the boundaries of understanding or doing.
What's your industry and role?
Wow... I don't know why people tolerated this for so long? I wonder if there isn't a better way to be organised and put back the pressure on these monopolies?
Or it could be true that many have tried and failed at it?
Back in India, we still have a 100 Mbps connection for ~$16/month (500 GB cap and thereafter 2 Mbps unlimited)... There are more cheaper options than this still available.
That's so true. And it's not just the relevance part of it, we have to even incorporate few operational cues as well while recommending products. Not for Amazon but for a different marketplace, I manage the recommendation engine as a product and we have incorporated product serviceability to customer's address as one of the parameters. Then the usual e-comm stuff kicks in like, out of stock issues, price elasticity during sale periods, new product/category launches etc.
Obviously, I do not want to discount other non-commerce recommendation engines like Spotfiy's or Netflix. They are great in their own ways, but e-comm is quite a different ball game. The cross sell model is really hard to crack if you have 1000s of competing sub categories and millions of products in them to fill in your top 10-20 slots.
That's really interesting. Was indeed in a need of one since a long time.
Already subscribed now and excited to review few emails and their content. Thank you for starting and maintaining something like this.
Hey, interested to be part of Mumbai's HN meet up.
Interested even to help coordinate one.
It's sad to hear this. We're currently building a video streaming platform (live and VoD) with a major focus on letting our users control their entire brand identity and viewers.
I might personally help you to resolve this situation. But we need to explore and scope it out. I'm currently the head of the product here at vVents (we're hunting for better name now, since our product is ready! ).
When we started with our platform, we genuinely felt a need to help artists stand on their own feet. Unlike other platforms, it was and is hard to cache our frontend assets, because everything is customizable. But we still took a bet to fix many issues just to make sure our users can showcase their own brand.
If you, or any other person needs to react out to me please mail me at pk at vVents dot com
Thinking about how to respond to comfort you. But I will simply add that I am thinking of the pain you're going through.
I wish for all the strengths to you to overcome this. Maybe thinking about good life moments of that person could provide some much needed positivity.
He definitely has a very arrogant tone about aadhaar as well as his another body shop company.
This massive massive data leak could cost Indian citizens very dearly. Everything is being forced to link with aadhaar.
If some digital lord in future decides to colonize people in few secs, I believe Indian shores and as well as people sitting in capital might provide a very lucrative proposition!
I just hope it isn't Jio! Jio phone itself has very intrusive OS!
Hi guys!
I'm also a founder from advisor track and from India. You can ping me at mail (at) Khandagale dot com
Thank you for genuinely helping out guys here!
Initial reactions maybe harsh from everyone since lots of people are emotionally attached to their startups and YC at the same time. But, in some time, I trust most of the champions here will understand this error.
Guys keep plugging! I see lots of community already being formed here to share their lecture journey. I believe it's nice to have that kind of place to interact with everyone.
This is totally wrong information about the current state of affairs of India.
1. Ease of doing business
The Indian government had stopped LLP registrations all together for no official reason. For Pvt ltd registrations from past June 10th rejections to form a new company or even subsidiary company has skyrocketed.
Source: LLP halt is reported in media, which still has some spine to stand against the government. Regarding rejections, all data is hidden even from RTI but you can talk with literally any CA/CS to understand the nightmare of MCA.
2. Investors
Its straight 5th-year FII has removed billions of dollars from the Indian market. Still, Indian Sensex is surging on the wave of the domestic mutual fund industry. Those "mutual funds Sahi hai" ads didn't start out of nowhere. There's no problem with the rise of the mutual fund industry, but to use it as a parameter for Indian economy's performance is nuts. Actually, rational investors are actively avoiding the Indian market.

Regarding corruption, infrastructure, education, jobs, credit rates and liquidity and other macroeconomic parameters, in general, are totally telling a different story. It would be really good to have the facts for all of the above claims. If I get to see the facts, I'll be satisfied with the claims.
Wake up before its too late! I just want people to question their government rather than defending them, irrespective of any political party.
Edit: Fixed indentation.
This deal is the result of commonly shared desperation. Both companies in the news Flipkart and Walmart are desperate to fight back Amazon's increasing market leadership and their spread. Amazon is growing crazy in India, literally.
But there's more to this. It's actually Walmart who is pushing this deal aggressively as they see it as a chance to tap into the increasingly growing Indian market. In past few years, Walmart did try numerous times to set up their shop here but due to certain FDI regulations they simply couldn't get in. Moreover, it is learned that Walmart (once the deal goes through) will be increasingly looking to expand Flipkart's nascent grocery related business. They want to overhaul the farm-to-customer supply chain and hence current stage of Flipkart and their logistics wing could be a real boon for Walmart. Walmart does have few retail stores in India but they are in JV with a telecom company owner Sunil Bharti Mittal.
On the other side, Flipkart badly needs capital infusion as they are bleeding or burning money at a crazy rate. Whatever edge they had currently in India over Amazon is due to Myntra's apparel sales. Flipkart, technologically speaking is lagging behind Amazon. And this is a real pain which almost all online retailers are facing. The same thing happened with another e-comm company SnapDeal (Also backed by Softbank).
One thing is for sure, to capture the Indian market and dominate it, either of these companies had to adapt quickly to cater to tier 2 and 3 cities of India. Whoever rules these cities and improve on last mile delivery experiences in these cities will rule Indian e-comm.
