SeedTG is like a wider breadth yC clone focused on transgender founders, and is designed to bring down the high unemployment rate in the transgender community as a long term side effect of helping trans-owned businesses become successful. Seedtg.com/wordpress

I've contacted the scientists behind: http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT00947622?term=fibromya... asking that they share the results of their research with me as a basis for my own.
Now the question is, has anyone here who has hacked together an occipital transcranial direct current stimulation cap to increase their intelligence care to share their notes?
Thank you for this. She is watching the google analytics on this blog post with me and is fascinated something she saw me do while she laid in my arms could generate so much traffic. She says thank you as well!
So a downvote button is an unlockable, interesting. Where did you learn this?
It's not trolling in any way. We have a new team member who is a pr person and are trying to settle the name issue so we can move foward. HN polices itself just fine without bigotry if people don't like the premise of our startup. You can disagree without being disrespectful.
I only see an upvote button, what gives?
Is this really acceptable on HN?
Thank you, and I agree that this problem is less important than our team and what we do, hence my attempt to crowdsource the naming decision. 2 for transformer is a good lead I'll be pitching the team tomorrow. Transfund, Transfunding, or Transfunder seem like worthy competition?
Thanks for pointing that out and the suggestion, but couldn't we be opening ourselves up to litigation from the toymakers?
Non pourous graphene desalinizes.
Graphene film studded with methyl butyl suflfide particles capture suns energy and release it into the grid via warping of graphene structure with decreased night temperatures.
I'm the boss (tcombinator.blogspot.com), it's my engineer that is requesting an engineering specification. I'm assuming that it would essentially be a software specification document, but for a robot, as opposed to an app. I recognize the difficulties involved, hence my stagnation and reaching out for guidance and partnerships to jumpstart the process. I live in Virginia, otherwise I would be happy to meet with your contacts.
I need to write an engineering spec for what is essentially the robotic endoskeleton for the terminator arnold plays in the franchise by the same name.
Help a girl out?
I can write software specifications but this task is beyond me.
My engineer must think I`m the reincarnation of tesla to have asked me for a spec, but I think I can pull it off, just having trouble getting started with everything else I have going on (new bf and dog, tcombinator, freelancing, my adult career, doing nothing, etc).
I was thinking you can talk to your peeps and see if any of them want to help.
Before the backlash, I don't intend for these robots to be used to kill people. They are for jobs that humans die doing or cannot do, like cleaning up nuclear accidents like fukishima without suffering the huge doses of radiation a man would (or at least not dying/becomong non-operational as a result of it). Thanks
An open source web app/tool for adult film actresses/actors to easily make their own monthly subscription based websites with an api that people can use as a basis for a smart phone app that does the same thing.
Pain Points: 1)Adult Actors/Actresses get maybe 1% of the long term returns on the content they appear in.
2)Making their own site, setting up a way to let clients pay, and figuring out how to get streaming videos to work, are all way too hard for the average performer and lead to them being stuck accepting the 1% mentioned above.
Note: I would use it for my site, as I am also an adult film actress (a transgender one) and this is something I plan to build for myself and my peers at some point in the future, and it would be great to just contribute to the open source project rather than starting from scratch.
My phone cannot make long distance calls with my plan someone please call this site owner and get them involved in this effort. We need the poster's IP address. 4 hours and counting.

You can invest your companies' services as if it were capital in my company, TCombinator, for a percent equity stake, thus giving you a project you can be proud about: saving the world through entrepreneurship. Check out tcombinator.blogspot.com, tcombinatordev.blogspot.com and transtartup.blogspot.com to read about us and some of our projects.
How was it any of the things you mentioned? You are trolling ME now.
I suppose I am a little scrappy http://tcombinator.blogspot.com/2012/04/why-i-am-personally-...
Just because you could make the same argument for any group, does not invalidate the argument. It speaks to it's universality. If getting them funding were the problem, it would call for a different fix. The problem is getting them to apply, to make them aware the option even exists, and to get them to think like entrepreneurs to prepare them for the rest of a YC like process. We just come in earlier in the life cycle and are using a succesful business practice as a tool for social good. We got 5 new incubees over night, so they do exist, and we are rolling.
Moving to where the contacts are, so I can make them, and leading a life such that my story gathers attention, in hopes of attracting funding; seems like the way to go. I want to inspire future transpeople with my story. If I can make this work, starting from nothing, then there is no excuse for a transperson that has nothing not to apply to TC
So we either apply tint to windows or keep tin warm? Thanks for the thought though!
I'm looking at the data. 1 in 500 people are trans. 0 in 10000 venture funded startup founders are trans. Why is there such a disparity between their proportion of the population, and their representation in the startup world? I am not going to speculate as to why that is, I am just going to hack it. I don't intend for all incubated startup to have all transgender founders. My only condition is that they have at least one. It might seem like I am doing this with no resources, but my gut tells me that I am building wealth by doing it this way, that the story it creates will catalyze events that make those resources available. All I need to do is get picked up by YC.
I'll be in MV at the hackerdojo in 1-2 weeks. Once I am there, the first thing I will be building will be a front end to crowdfunding platforms like kickstarter featuring free/libre projects as the alpha for the Copyleft Media Foundation, with Richard Stallman and the FSF interested in my idea. Since my first incubee is an artist, a startup to sell her paintings is next. CubicleCurator is me asking offices to hang up her art, and hoping they buy some when I threaten to take it back and put it back in rotation. Third will be the TCombinator web site. I can't say for sure what will be next after that. At some point I will walk into YC and lay out my hand. For food, I'll try to always have a date lined up for lunch/dinner. For places to stay, I'm just winging it hoping somebody comes through for me. That's the part I am trusting my charm, enthusiasm, and unbelievable luck.
I thought I'd make the idea easy to convey. My first name for it was TIntegrator but the word tint throws one off.
I am moving to Mountain View to run TCombinator out if the HackerDojo.com. My apologies for not being clear.
And if by treated like everyone else, you mean we want to be treated like men that are expected to behave like men or face fear of being fired, or like women that are expected to be nice about it when they get objectified, because that's how everyone else is treated, then no, we don't want an unethical system to accept us. We want everyone to be treated ethically, and fixing things for the nth, most fringe case, fixes things for the less fringe, n-1,n-2,n-3... cases.
It doesn`t seperate us, it plugs us in to the wider sphere of mentors and investors that YC would be plugging me into if they accept me. Transpeople have atypical issues, and would feel more comfortable with other transpeople being the initial point of contact for something as personally challenging as launching a startup. Some have intermediate psychological or logistical barriers to participation cispeople cannot identify with. Think of it like prep school for YC, that operates at 1/10 the scale, solely online, and creates entrepreneurs through active recruiting and entrepreneurial tutoring, rather than waiting for already existing entrepreneurs to apply; a 25% charity, 75% seed venture capital firm and trans-social good movement, and YC loves a movement.
