Hey HN!

Zenkit Projects is a dedicated project management tool that easily connects with the rest of the Zenkit suite.

Over the years, we’ve gathered a lot of experience with Zenkit Base for project management, so we implemented our 5 key-learnings: It is super easy-to-use, has a 360-degree dashboard, a global Kanban, resource management, and dedicated reporting. We’ve implemented many of the most highly-requested features and functions into Projects:

-A dashboard displaying personal and team task completeness, as well as progress across all projects.

-Global Kanban board, task list, and calendar views, as well as daily and weekly agendas.

-Grouping, sorting, and filtering in global views and reports.

-Custom reports with over 720 different configuration options.

-Resource management in the Gantt view, as well as a global resource planner.

-Multiple ways to view and work with projects, including Gantt, Kanban, calendar and hierarchy.

We would love it if you'd try it out and give us some feedback! Also, if you have any questions about Zenkit Projects please don't hesitate to post it in the comments.

It always has been scary to me to how weapons evolve over time. Even though they are (thank god) mostly not needed they still keep developing further to be more lethal and efficient just to be "prepared" to what might happen in the future.

I feel you, in general I love coding, but I just usually run out of ideas fast if I actually want to start some kind of side project.

Saw this on Producthunt earlier today. Looks really clean and useful. It is also, and probably most importantly really easy to use. Looking forwards to use it in the future or recommend it if someone has the need for it!

Fully agree. If there is any material available to prepare for the interview I will try to fully use it just to calm my mind about the interview itself. Because imagining myself in the interview and not knowing the answer to the one question asked that I could have prepared makes me do it.

While I think its true that most people aren't aware of the privacy problem, i also think that a big part of that group also just doesn't care.

I dont understand why people that care so much for privacy just go and switch browsers? Website designers will never change and block users from using their site with Chrome because that would just kill 70% of the traffic.

I'm using FF myself and never had a problem with it

Seems interesting (looked at it on ProductHunt since Website was broken for me as well).

A well working scheduling, open-source tool would be great. And I also read that you can integrate it easily into other stuff?

I feel like there will also people that have way too many prejudices towards these kinds of "drugs" because that's simply how we learned it. "Don't take drugs kids".

These studies are very helpful especially when shared over general media, but the consumption has to be supervised and controlled to not have overdoses and ruin the whole reputation again. It should be treated like any other anti-depressant, since they are just "drugs" in the end

How else would a company know for certain that the employee who was supposed to clean a client premise actually went there?

Well this is the whole point. You have to trust your employees to some degree with this. Also you would totally notice someone not doing what they are supposed to do at some point, simply because their work would pile up otherwise. You can also have daily/weekly meetings to check on their progress to make sure they are doing their work.

Really loving this! As someone who also made clones of bigger software (usually with lesser functionality, because I was focussing on the main thing) I look forward into searching that list to find solutions of others.

It certainly also played a psychological role when stuff was constantly cleaned and disinfected. Just think yourself back 10 months when everything about Covid was uncertain. You wouldn't want to be that 1 store/shop/restaurant that doesn't clean as much as the others.

Programming quotes 5 years ago

This looks like it would be heaven for my software engineering professor. I swear he had smart Computer Science quotes on every second slide of his presentations.

A mix of both home-office and going to the actual office is probably the way to go for most companies. Sometimes being in the office just isn't necessary and colleague interaction can be done by phone or chat/video apps.

However, going into full time home-office mode isn't great either since you would miss out on the random meetings/talks when you run into each other in the office.
