quit last year, bikepacked for a fee month in europe, and now after a toy project got hn-ed in december, built a real saas that pays the bills. pretty grateful to hn.

i quit after realising how ineffective it is to support a founder who stopped focusing on the product.

+1. downloaded it to see if it’s faster, but comment section takes around 5-7 seconds to load. other than that, gj—-nice ux, polished, icon..

a way to solve it, which i recently started doing, is ssh-ing into the machine, starting a tmux runnin claude-code with /cc from there.

feels so refreshing to see a website without the obvious-ai elements.

freesound.org is the perfect place to upload these. i'm using their api to scan new sounds that are geotagged and put them on the map

just this week i asked claude to use /say command instead of echo-ing it’s messages • magic!

revived an ipad mini 2 (2013), rooted it and ssh-ed in and let claude handle the tailscale setup, terminal emulator selection, and prep work. perfect form factor and can test web apps via browser.

tried tmux but realized claude/gemini/codex's --resume works great and have since started using a single chat for all small work projects

i think there's a way but it's hacky. instead of using the barcode property it would add an image based on your inputted codabar.

my use case is a loyalty barcode for a major retailer here. they provided a digital version but you had to download their app or take a picture. apple wallet is convenient, u just double tap and the Wallet loads on screen with full brightness to make it easy to scan. i dont have to keep anymore.

but on apple wallet u can't create your own a pass from a simple scan. creatign the ".pkpass" need a signature from a apple developer account.
