I will still try and include archival -- storage is cheap. A reinstall of Claude Code or buggy upgrade might still wipe history. I also ocassionally use multiple PCs -- so there is some small value in consolidating them all for analytics and insights.

(When I have a weekly quota unused and about to expire -- i task Opus with churning through these archives and surfacing learining, best practices, what's not working etc)

The reasoning was in a transcript on my laptop. Claude Code deletes those after 30 days by default. Two of my projects lost their whole history that way.

Wait what? Claude Code (and Codex) transcripts are auto-deleted??

That's a treasure trove of information for all my projects and I had built some tooling and workflows tahat deal with extracting insights from them -- withut ever realizing I mightbe losing old chats. Thanks for this -- I may need to include an archival step for retention.

With wearable devices becoming more common - I am anticipating a wave of "sensors" that can be as simple as small band-aid patches that wirelessly send data to your smart device. Those sensors could also open up human-coputer-interface innovations like these.

When I saw the demo posted last year it left me with an uneasy feeling -- gut feel said it was more marketing than a real working technology demo. Nothing seems to have come out of that lab since then -- strengthemning my suspicions.

Do we have more details / documentation on this capability. Can we replicate the same using a generic agent skill with custom apps / harness.

Many of the titles are also published in hard copy form by low-cost Indian publishers on Amazon India.

Could these use some frame interpolation and smoothing to make them less jerky? Or would that make them just a video clip then?

The first couple of examples were good but later examples were not so impressive. I think the later examples suffered from having too little of perspective change between frames and too much of subject movement -- which defeats the illusion of 3d from a "static" image.

Ideal one would have a left-to-right pan betweem the two clicks ..roughly matching the perspective shift between left eye and right eye ..while the subject stays static.

There were real hippie movements that mixed it with spiritual stuff that only appeals to a minority. Hence some labelling by association.

(I dont feel very motivated to work in blockchain -- because by association it carries elements of crypto hype that I find distasteful)

Once you separate the physical excercise and its benefits and allow people the space to pursue them for their benefits without necessarily subscribing to new spirituality -- it has found broader appeal.

(Few decades ago smoking was widely accepted socially even though it was no secret that it damages health. It took a few decades of mounting scientific evidence for society to shun smoking. Takes time for society and cultures to accept new ideas.)

Resistance to teaching in schools ... from who?

Schools in india have a lot of shortcomings when it comes to physical education, sports and other life skills training -- yoga / meditation alone does not get any special treatment either for or against.

There is a lot more our schools can do better -- including surely physical exercise and meditation/breathing exercises.

If anything there is too much emphasis on making international yoga day a grand spectacle one day each year -- which surely involves involuntary participation by schoolkids -- with no lasting benefits except PR.

Even the most vocal debates of today about school curriculum (see CBSE / NCERT in current affairs) dont have any arguments for or against extra curricular or non academic skills in school.

We broadly have a long way to go in making our education curricula well rounded. Would welcome more genuine elements of physical wellbeing and meditation included (without any burden of spitiruality mixed in -- which can create the resistance you might be referring to).

Some examples need more work i think

"Database backup" has circular arrow spinning backwards

"Earth" shows lines being drawn -- instead i expected it to show an abstract spin of the globe

"Droplet" animates the outline draw. Expected a droplet that starts small and descends to become full size.

Same with "flame" -- should ideally be an animated flame licking up / whisps

"Copy" and "File Stack" -- the animation shown should ideally be reversed i think

"Git-branch" -- animation is wrong, doesn't show branching -- just drawing nodes and lines.

"Hand-grab" -- should start with open palm and then the grab.

Same with "hand-fist"

Many animations are simple zoom/enlarge - like those on right angle arrows are not serving a purpose

This is how you get statutory warning labels and nutrtion information labels on packages.

Because these folks always want to do the least legal thing allowed by law.
