I agree, Ppl with good grades have hard time accepting someone without them to be as good or even better than they are. For them grades become like a company whose share they hold. And any one making an arument against their fallibility even in special situation makes them extremely self conscious!

Do you have proper approval from FDA? I believe if you are hoping to mass market the product anytime. I feel you would require some kind of FDA approval/certification process. Also does your bottle has proper food label which lists ingredients and nutrition info. You might find this comment annoying but be prepared to gather and print such information on the bottle if you wish to stay clear of any headaches (or worse lawsuits) in future.
Microsoft has Secret API??? Can you name a single product which benifitted from it???
Let me remind you its Apple which didnt allow access to GPU to flash dev.
This guy clearly does not knows anything about cygwin and mingw. Yet still there are some programs which you cannot run but that is due to lack of features in windows (signal and ptys) rather than an evil Microsoft scheme.
What the author does not understands is that this clause (3.3.1) was originally absent from the agreement and was added for sole purpose of pissing off Adobe. That is anti competitive for sure. IMHO its equivalent to what MSFT tried to do when it started distributing IE for free.
To quote from article: """ Probe Microsoft because Windows doesn’t run Linux apps?? """
The author of the article has got no CS knowledge. What are the qualifications for being a geek? Apple Logo and Star Wars?
I can write better articles than this guy.
Having spent last two year working prediction of properties of drugs from their structure (Machine Learning), Taleb's book was the real eye opener.
It made total sense. However the hoi polloi is in search of a charismatic Messiah who has answer to all questions. And when someone mocks their expectation by presenting statistical evidence, the general argument is how arrogant that person is.
The idea of something can be predicted by using mathematical formulas (F=MA) is extremely attractive, however in Chaos filled practice one finds it more of an exception rather than a rule. The worst part being our inability to choose a proper null model.
I never complained its spammy! It is one of the useful ways of boosting your page rank and getting it linked.
yeah why dont you try coding in Assembly for that matter or even better submit the circuit designs,
This link is a perfect example of how a tangential article is being used to boost page rank of his website.
Its more of a Software Engineering Masters rather than computer science.
Really you are arguing agaist google because of tracking by Google analytics and AdSense??? Are you nuts??
Both programs are installed on the sites by explicit request of the website owners. If you should have problem with then that should be with the website owners "redtube" and not Google.
Also if you can prove that the TOS (Terms of Services) and Privacy Policy of the website you are visiting are violated by the Analytics or AdSense. Then you can petition in court as violation of policy. However if you still visit the same website which have set the privacy policy and Tos compliant with AdSense and Analytics, and are crying about google watching you then i offer you a simle solution.
Dont visit those websites! If you find lot like minded people then the traffic will automatically vanish.
Till then keep your mouth shut.
I think the following phrase is unnncessary "a result that goes against IR common knowledge"
IR aims to retrieve information and not sentiments from the text. This kind of work is related to sentiment analysis, where use of stops words as signal is common. Thus the whole argument that some holy criteria in IR has been shown to false is clearly incorrect. Even original authors don't make such assertions.
javascript cdn tracks you huh? Are you on LSD or something. what is next google seceret agreement with firefox to track ssl certificate usage?? ppl like you arent worth to be on this forum.
Any comments?
