There are some viewpoints that should not be tolerated though.
Everything is political especially the conditions under which your exchange your labor for survival / comfort.

there's a pretty good book out there "Data Science from Scratch" it's all in python and really lays out the workings of popular data science / analysis algorithms without relying heavily on external libraries.
The talk juice it or lose, by Martin Jonasson & Petri Purho, is all about this. Gotta be one of the best talks for anyone trying to make things interactive that also feel good.
Well the difference is these stories are really really rare where as stories of struggling college graduates with mountains of debt are pretty commonplace.
Might as well tell people to gather inspiration from tales of lottery winners.
and if you're going to do that Korg's new minilogue has a great omled screen that shows the waveform of whatever sound you are playing.

With what capital? More likely that these old mining towns and more rural communities wont exist in a few generations. With younger people moving to the cities to find whatever work they can.
I don't really see any negative spin at all. Amazon is portrayed as a business just trying to get things done in "backwards" Washington DC.
They are made out to seem like they don't even know what they are doing, "Amazon is really having to learn how to navigate all these things," even though they are spending nearly 10 million dollars on lobbying, have numerous contracts with the federal government and have a former whitehouse press secretary as a senior vp?
This is pretty much an amazon fluff piece.
didn't the xbox do this 3 or 4 years ago?

The thing is do you want to build something or do you want to learn every JS framework and try to decide which is going to be the very best for what you are doing then build something.
" React, Angular, Ember, Backbone, Vue, Knockout, Mithril, Jade, Django, Rails, etc. "
Oh yeah I never built _____ cause I was busy learning a, b, c, x, y, and z frameworks and by the time you have those down there are three new ones. When most likely what you are doing any of the big ones will be fine so just pick the one you want to learn, or know already or whatever works best for you.

I know what you mean but it really on extends to certain animals and only at certain times and only in certain cultures.
I think human life in general is held in higher regard than animal life by the majority of the humans on the planet if you really stop and think about it.
