Disagree. With a little bit of technical knowledge which I’m assuming most people browsing hacker news have, these services are easy to spin up and use.

If you can read a README you can set up Navidrome and point it to your local library in 5 minutes.

I use YouTube every day of my life and gladly pay premium. It costs money to host and serve the insane amount of video YouTube provides. To each his own

I was an ally customer for the longest time and their app and website have degraded in quality. Login is abysmally slow and there have been multiple times I was not able to login at all. Recently switched to capital one 360 and so far so good.

Can it perform income calculations based on number of shares held ? I currently use an app called DivCalc for this since I’ve recently been interested in income investing. Just curious!

Unfortunately(?) ds and algos + leetcode for interviews but I’ve been approaching it as an investment. Hopefully my future self making tons of money will thank me

I’ve only received a couple calls in the time I’ve had the app but my overall experience was great. Helped a guy cross a busy intersection and another woman pick out some low-fat milk. Feels good to help man.
