1. 10-15 dollars a month is not exorbitant and quite worth it with a media server.

2. sabnzbbd or nzgget are hardly poorly documented or undiscoverable.

3. you need to get an indexer which handles all those files over 2 million posts. the software in 2 will put them together for you with minimal effort.

i would recommend a premium indexer as they are quite cheap but there are free available.

i would also like to note that since you're not using a torrent you can't be done for distribution of copywritten material to the same scale as you can for a torrent.

i think the argument goes that all human culture is remixed from human culture. if you write a book it's safe to say you have borrowed from other works of culture. you might have put a new spin on it but that isn't to say you have created something wholly new. how could you possibly claim to have crated a new artistic work uninfluenced by previously created artistic works? thus how much of this work do you truly own?

when you look at the Disney animation classic's back catalogue you see an awful lot of work from the commons. does this not display the value of having these works in the commons?

we had similar problems in ireland with taxi's but this was solved not by uber but by deregulation.

Under this we got thousands more taxi's who are all registered and have public liability insurance.

Under Irish law you have to have a taxi or hackny license in order to transport anyone so it is illegal for uber to operate here, but with the selection of other apps like lync with work quite well in our regulatory enviroment this has been a great result!

This happens in Ireland. results are all hand counted with representatives from all parties and public access to watch the counting.

After a vote we get to watch the news go from counting station to station to announce the results.

That we are all part of a macro-organism. we all act as parts of the body and the more we organise the more we collectively grow.

populations that are decimated lose massive amounts of knowledge and only increase in numbers increases the complexity of the technology.

in a lot of ways we act like cells in the human body. nothing tells them to be what they are, they find an opening and fill the role required of them.
