The main difference with other layouts is that I take finger length into account. (Eg. the pinky is usually much shorter than your ring finger, so putting them all on the same row means your ring finger need to curl up more and less relaxed). Also tried to reduce changes to the most common shortcuts we (programmers) use.

I think we have to consider the possibility (most likely), that the advanced versions of these lifeforms are much further along the evolutionary tree than we are. They might have evolved like us, but continued evolving and now look nothing like us.

Tesla's solar tiles is a good start. Alternatively, a tile that can be switched between white in summer and black in winter would be ideal.

Never heard of foam roofing. Sounds like a great idea!

Assigning a person a label of right or left or center is too simplistic. People are more complex. Their preferences are tied to issues. For each issue, every person might have a tilt/preference and they may not always tilt in one direction on all issues.

Agree with this one. Existing UI frameworks (eg. https://sveltematerialui.com/) are not to the level of Vuetify (for good reason). Even though I like Svelte, having to build a lot of UI elements from scratch has been annoying.

We had a hard time showing users why we are different from other aggregators/curators.

Eg. we extract 3 most information dense sentences from article, we show different political perspectives, we analyze the articles and score them, we group related articles to a story into a cluster etc.

It's a fine line between showing too much and showing too little.

We tried a forum with comments before and it's not easy. But we did learn a lot of lessons and plan to introduce a version of it soon.

I agree. 2019 was better. But still not enough, I feel. I got tired of Mercedes winning :).

Because of the COVID, they have pushed some of the needed reforms further out, which is unfortunate (like max $ spend per team, engine specs, reduced sensitivity to the car in front etc.).

I used to like watching it, until it became boring.

The cars got wider and more sensitive to the car in front, that overtakes became rare, even with DRS (*Drag Reduction System - that allows the back wing of the car in the back to fold to reduce drag at certain points in the track, if the car is close enough to the car in front).

Also, Mercedes started dominating it, to a point that the only battle in the race was in the mid-field. The winners were almost always, already decided at qualifying (unless some reliability issues happened during the race).

Tangentially related, but not really a comparison of cellphone cameras, but: I find the incompatibility of lenses between the different manufacturers really annoying. I have to choose between say nikon/canon/sony and then if I buy lenses, which I have to, I am stuck with that manufacturer, unless I replace everything.
