I dream of having an iPhone 4. I guess it's subjective what you call slow.
The system is still extremely buggy. It closes in mid-writing-a-text message or mid-call. You expect this behaviour from a toy, but not a phone.
Mind you, to people in emerging markets, it is a tool, not a toy, even if they only pay $25 for it. To these people, it's a lot of money.
The hardware is very slow. It is too slow to render HTML5, which is especially hard when you have to type on the touch screen. The problem is that the system lags quite long after you touch the screen, so you are a few letters ahead of what is on the screen. There is no feedback.
So, to me, Mozilla is really disconnected from reality if they think this could work.
And what was the version of Firefox you had these problems with? They made their browser much leaner and faster. It consumes far less memory than Chrome on my machine.
The default pre-kitkat Android browser supports text reflow. Opera Classic (presto), Opera Mobile, Dolphin do that as well.

It has been said here before. Linux fully supports PAE whereas Windows only uses it for execution restriction. Therefore you are not able to see anything beyond the 4 GB limit on Windows.
To turn tables round, not having to worry about my stuff left on the desk while working in a shared office is something unthinkable for me, as a Pole. Kinda envious.

In 2003 I wanted to import my car from France as I was moving back to Poland. As I bought the car in France, all official paperwork I had was the French registration card and a car "cession" document. There was no price stated on the cession document.
The official at the Polish registration office gave me a photocopied Belgian registration form and told me to fill that in, fill the price and sign for the seller (in other words, forge the seller's signature).
Doesn't work on my T500 (Intel i915 graphics). Shows black screen after everything loads. Does anyone else have this?

BTW, does anyone know how to go the next page after the UI change? Buttons just vanished and one can only see up to 50 messages.
EDIT: one has to click on "1-25 of many" and the buttons to change pages appear. Does anyone find it intuitive?

I lived through the communist era in Poland. Amateur radio stations were banned and prosecuted (you would go to jail), even possession of a CB radio was a crime. Things may be similar in Iran.
I think it's the other way round: a high age limit may be a consequence of the drinking problem a society has, as a measure to limit consumption.

Centrifugal is imaginary in a non-inertial reference frame (as the case is here), but is a "real" force otherwise.

Well I had very similar (or worse) problems when upgrading from 10.10 to 11.04, but when they released the Narwhal, the update went smoothly.
It's quite a difficult task to provide the update facility, last time I checked, Linux Mint recommended doing a full reinstall.
