Even phones have screen settings these days (much less detailed than monitors). On my Motorola phone w/ OLED screen, I turned off "vibrant colors" or something like that. Maybe the people you saw didn't bother or liked it. Maybe there is something that can't be turned off, who knows. I only have semi-regular experience with an older (and non OLED) Samsung tablet which seems fine.
This -4th power also makes stealth very difficult. Reducing the RCS by a factor of 1000 reduces detection range by a factor of 5.75.

Most screens come with "showroom settings" out of the box. You need to configure them to something more neutral once and then it's fine.

LG's behavior isn't fine, but their monitors don't install crapware on Linux.
It's common to call the instruction set just "architecture", or ISA (instruction set architecture) to be more precise. The implementation is commonly called "microarchitecture".
I didn't play much at the time because of the lack of games on Linux, but I've played some Far Cry 3 (from 2012) recently where I did turn down SSAO in the settings.

SSAO is cheap, doesn't work that well and looks terrible if overdone, as many games did 10-15 years ago. The simple workaround is to dial down the SSAO so that it's maybe weaker than ambient occlusion in reality, but also not noticeably wrong or overdone. Fortunately, the settings often allow that. Problem mostly solved!
It's a common pattern that newly possible (usually due to hardware) effects are overdone for the wow / up-to-date look effect.

In Germany: 0.06 € / kWh was policy, 0.14 € / kWh was mainly Ukraine war. It's currently at about 0.10 € (policy + Ukraine war + Iran war). Taxes are fairly low: 0.0055 € / kWh and the usual 19% VAT.

OK, I see that an Indy went for about the same price as a SPARCstation 5 in 1993. I knew about the low-cost Indy, but not that it was that low cost (for a UNIX workstation, about $5000).
Is there any indication that migration to some other ERP system causes trouble less often? There is a bunch of conventional wisdom about such migrations that some companies disregard and pay the price. I think #1 is don't customize willy-nilly, you will have to maintain those changes forever.
