"Too many irons in too many fires."
anyone else also think better with visual nodes and edges?
true art.
John Chowning is known for having developed the FM synthesis algorithm in 1967. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Chowning
I've often wondered, with a cohort (community/society) of people who do not discourage freedom of expression, how many great works would come to fruition, but instead one is held back and then set free by drugs...?
great game and very satisfying.
as camping is to "glamping," splitting wood is to "sprinkle wood?"
beautifully sad well put prose mentor encouraged
yep... I remember the day I saw a short ted talk explaining the correct knot. I had been doing it wrong for decades. thanks for even more knots to try.
you can call 988, if you need mental health help
Wonderful man, here is a lecture on the topic from Joint Mathematics Meeting, Étienne Ghys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OIxzewWilc
Sounds salty. https://people.csail.mit.edu/mrub/papers/VisualMic_SIGGRAPH2... use a potato chip bag as a microphone
This is great, I've always wanted some kind of local solar time. Like the old days when a town would set their clock tower to noon when the sun was highest. Apparently, the main push to coordinate was the train scheduling.
i remember hearing Porsche was doing some machine learning with vibration analysis to find car trouble. https://www.porsche.digital/en
good idea https://tautme.github.io/phone-sensors/heartRate.html , try setting it on the ground and see how sensitive it is to foot steps.... or earthquake https://seismosense.com
so much fun, thanks for sharing. https://tautme.github.io/phone-sensors/
guitar detuner that uses accelerometer instead of microphone, it doesn't really work, but amazing to see how sensitive they are.
great idea down this thread, make a guitar tuner that listens with the accelerometer. https://tautme.github.io/phone-sensors/accel-tuner.html
does this work on pixel?
https://tautme.github.io/phone-sensors/sensor_etch_pixel.htm...
intersting that phones ask for permission to camera and mic, but not always for accelerometer
here is the full list, of trying something out with all the sensors. https://tautme.github.io/phone-sensors/
This is the full "vibe code rabbit hole" I went down, with trying to understand what is possible with the sensors. https://tautme.github.io/phone-sensors/
change paint brush size -> whistle
change color -> put finger in front if camera
make drum sound -> tap side of phone
It seems to make the user dance, would fun to see video of people using it for the first time. haha
tap the side of the phone, it responds to accelerometer sensor.
"The attackers claimed to be Belgians originally from Morocco. According to Le Monde they transited through the municipality of Molenbeek.[122] Their passports turned out to be stolen and their nationality was later determined to be Tunisian. Waiting for almost three weeks (during which they also interviewed Burhanuddin Rabbani and Abdul Rasul Sayyaf) for an interview opportunity, on September 8, 2001, an aide to Massoud recalls the would-be suicide attackers "were so worried" and threatened to leave if the interview did not happen in the next 24 hours (until September 10, 2001). They were finally granted an interview. During the interview, they set off a bomb composed of explosives hidden in the camera and in a battery-pack belt. Commander Massoud died in a helicopter that was taking him to an Indian military field hospital at Farkhor in nearby Tajikistan.[115] The explosion also killed Mohammed Asim Suhail, a United Front official, while Mohammad Fahim Dashty and Massoud Khalili were injured. One of the suicide attackers, Bouraoui, was killed by the explosion, while Dahmane Abd al-Sattar was captured and shot while trying to escape." wikipedia
Thanks, this is my first post. I was had no idea this event took place. Wild to think about all that was going on at that time. I would change the title if I could.
