I don’t know what airbus uses I only looked into the schematics of commercial avionics like Garmin. I doubted though IMU drift and calibration introduce more error than they can provide in useful signal, old school pressure sensors + gps adjusted manually or automatically for regional pressure settings (pilots get these numbers through radio when they enter a new pressure area) is accurate enough (~1m). I’ll let a real avionics engineer correct me here, I’d be curious if that signal is worth the hassle + I can imagine such tiny SMD sensors ARE the biggest victims of radiation hallucination.

Yet on the flip side, if I’m trying to auto identify my own phone for a login-less private app i tried to build I couldn’t get to reliably generate a consistent fingerprint on safari private mode, it regenerates 50% of the time, I’ve tried several libraries like fingerprintjs and co..

Economics of scale. my bet is Apple will develop a cluster of M1s and call them M-power-2 to address the 1.5TB RAM workstation market you mentioned. It will be practically an array of M1s (or next gen) together. The way the M1 is used from iPad to iMacs is genius in terms of cost reduction at scale and for an end consumer, who doesnt care who else uses their chip, I get a good $/cpu power bargain. Tim Apple being the supply-chain guy he is, I see him doubling down and scrambling engineers to user more M1s in array to build a stronger core. Maybe an M1-based server rack for AWS?

never implied they did anything illegal. im pretty sure their numbers this year is 100% legal as well. Nor im implying they did anything wrong, they're doing whats best for them which you and I would have done. I just refute the notion its "fair" that the tax structure is quite harsh on private individuals (id go as far as claiming is dependant on private individuals) but creates the situation for corps that using clever accounting to pay a fraction of the supposed sum is considered graciously courteous.

given the corp tax rate in 2011 was 35% id say hitting 600M in profit and somehow paying only 30M instead of 210M does not really count as "fair" nor regular.

We had to im sorry. Its quite unrealistic for a startup to write its own OS from scratch. And there's the app topic that everyone else failed at. We always had a vision to do an open web-based (Chromium like) os when it becomes realistic.

We did already pull back a bit on most of our SW promises and packed them inside a "beta-mode" as we realised after testing a personal driver phone is no experimenting ground. I guess you're right we have complete perception of minimal. I wrote somewhere else our aim was to be exactly between Flagship smartphones and complete detox options like litephone or an old refurbished nokia, I think you're more looking for those options.

well put advice. However countless projects started the software route and never managed to go beyond step 1. We're focusing on HW atm, offering a great price point, great experience, insurance and using as much off the shelve software as possible. Offering a complete working package that just works right now. And installing the software one by one
