is your content such that people would have ai bots answer it for them? I have stopped going to many, recipe blogs since i can just get a dynamically tailored recipe based on what i have.

I would think due to lack of typical clicks and ads - alot of sites are gonna go under. i dont like this part of capitalism.

At min, 2-4 hours for office hours per week ( within my group at least )

However, at the core they are pushing you to grow and build a company.

So within my group there are alot of fulltime founders.

Im a fulltime founder myself and have found the experience to be great. Its helped me to ask the correct questions and to move alot faster.

Its also great to have a solid network of other founders to chat with.

In saying this, there are members within our group whom have full-time jobs and simply work alot after hours on their products.

As someone who lives in a regional city in Australia, Im very excited to have the opportunity to join the program.

Watching the lectures on Youtube offers a one way information transfer, which while its an amazing amount of information im hoping that this MOOC will allow a bit more of a two way communication.

So Thanks.

Been loving Grav for my personal site. Worked a treat and easy to setup - haven't had any issues.

Haven't had a look at how easy it is to create themes however.

Makes me sad that they pushed AMP vs creating a standard format for how 'reading mode' content is selected.

This probably would speed up loading times as it would only have to display/load certain content.

I love 'reading mode' on firefox and safari (mobile). Unsure what other browsers support it but they all should.

Aussie here. This is an interesting contrast to what the state of blood donation and healthcare here is. I have never seen a for profit blood bank here. It's mainly one non for profit that takes blood donations.

I have often tried to donate blood but been turned away due to my height vs weight ratio ( im skinny and tall ). I think the desire to donate blood for nothing may come from the fact that we receive pretty much free healthcare ( you can pay for health insurance and get access to better doctors and shorter waiting lists ).

I've read many things on HN about healthcare in the pass and it always amazes me how much I take my countries health system for granted.

I have put on 10 kgs (22 lbs) since I last tried so maybe I will try again sometime.

Agreed.

I think the second big problem after feeling safe is identity. A lot of people see their work as there identity.

This is not going to play out well with automation and the removal of jobs.

As for why opiates? They produce a much cleaner high probably.

As an Aussie I find this pretty funny. Since they passed the law to make ISPs store your data ( which was a warning shot to piraters from my POV ) not many people's behaviours changed. Ie people still pirated. The difference between simply logging traffic and blocking certain sites means instead of being able to watch what I do, I'll be sign up to a VPN and they won't see any of my traffic. If anything blocking these sites is great as it will force lazy people to use VPNs.

Good work to these guys making it easier to get started.

Congrats,

This is really neat, however don't own an Ipad but have wanted the ability to share realtime drawings with different devices.

Hows the traction going?

The reason im asking this question is, I am launching an app and it has different pricing based on different countries. So, the transaction doesn't happen on the client-side, its simply displaying the price of the app. The actual charge happens via Apple.

Big companies usually have different websites for different countries. But for smaller countries do they simple just display the price for the main country they sell in and if a user is buying from another country they rely on their payment gateway to display the local currency?

Dont hate aussies , Im an aussie :)

As a developer, im really not sure how, what or why I would use this.. or even what this is.

I watched your video, read your intro, went into the hello world. Yet im still confused.

I believe im your target market as a developer. So just wanted to express my point of view.

This is great advice and advice I wish I taken onboard earlier. As a technical founder Ive found myself making a large set of assumptions which are usually proved to be incorrect when going to the market.

Going into the market and talking to your customers early on so you can answer those two questions will really help tell you if you have a viable idea.

I feel there is another point we are not looking at which worries me.

The author connects work to our self-worth which I think is an important connection to be made. If our worth is defined by work completed/productivity and there is a lack of work, slowly it means there is going to be a rise of people with a lack of self-worth (And being unemployed means your at home alone alot more) Depression will come.

I worry that this trend of lack of work will begin to lead a rise in suicide due to a compounded effect of lack of self-worth/identity.

Unsure if this is a sound conclusion to draw, but it worries me.

On your second point, I would find that super helpful.

Mainly due to data structures that may share > 10% of the data design but is very different and me not wanting to retype.

I think it would be alot easier to consume this data if it was in a table-like format vs image based.

Im more interested in the number and brands that are doing this vs the evidence. ( Evidence should be easy to get to aswell so you can build trust with your readers)

Cool site though.

Ive also been trying to find something similar.

My dad has been trying to learn to code and all the courses labeled "learn to code" seem to be coding on the web. Not learning "How to solve problems using code".

Ive had to take him manually through basics of control structures, variables, etc.
