I currently have Claude Desktop installed on a separate Mac mini M4 and control it with Dispatch. Is there a reason to do this method, it still seems the way I have it setup it has full control over the local account I gave it on the Mac mini.
I really wish Google would make a macOS desktop app for Gemini just like ChatGPT and Claude have. I'd use it much more if I could login with my sub and not have to open a web browser every single time.

People are so excited for cloud gaming, and Xbox Game Pass growing now... The price will continue to go up up up up up up. I remember when YouTube TV was $35/mo now it's $73/mo. Game Pass and all cloud gaming will slowly cost more until it's close to 1/2 the price a month of a game, and slowly creep up from there. Sad.

I feel you, but the laptop can be order with an M2 Max for 64gb+ of RAM. There is no M2 Max Mac mini.... M2 Pro goes up to 32gb.

I felt the same reading the article. So much hate towards a single human. There are many ways to express dislike or disagreement with someone or their ideas and management styles without being so explicit and rude about it. It seems like its a badge of honor and prerequisite to say "I hate Elon, ok moving on about Mastodon..." I believe it's possible to dislike someones views and still have common ground and dialog, but I guess I'm in the minority (online) now.

Absolutely! People love to hate it’s very infectious. I personally believe for-profit social media companies should have always charged a subscription. People tend to be more respectful and use things they pay for.
Why does it matter how much he’s worth? Never understood why people are so concerned about him cutting jobs? He bought the company and took it private. It’s his right to restructure it and try to make it generate profit as he’d wish. The board of directors of public Twitter approved of this. What do people think, the USA is FOSS?

Do most of you posting here code in Linux? Or is it just your desktop of choice. I’ve been on macOS for many years. Probably 30+ and I’ve dabbled in so many Linux distros. I do want to set up a system again that is minimal and quick. Any recommendations? Cheers!

Exactly. It has unique swing settings. 53% swing on an MPC 3000 is totally different than any other swing setting from other drum machines or DAWs. It’s a matter of taste. You either like the swing setting on it or you don’t. Lots of hip hop producers loved it because it wasn’t so computerized.
