Just because IBM stuff is legacy doesnot means it is slow. Almost nobody is moving from a commercial database (Db2 for z/OS) to PostgreSQL because of performance. It is all to do with huge licensing cost. Talk to any veterans nothing matches the speed and stability of mainframe. search about z16 (tell me anything that guarantees 9 nines of availability)

exactly. I have a kid in 4th grade . He got bad grades all year in his internal assessments. All the teacher would do is circle out the mistakes for silly mistakes. My kid scored a 96 percentile , toping all the 4th grader in his school My kid knows how to solve and understand the concepts just lack in describing it. I completely favor standardize test as there was no person involved to judge (who can also be biased).

you have emulation for mainframe on x86, they give you a free 3 days emulated development env on their cloud if you sign up or else you can buy ADCD license and install it locally. other alternative is to use Hercules as emulator (only works with old ADCD images)
