We have a pretty big e-commerce scraping project, and we don't really run into many problems regarding blacklisted ip's. There are a few sites who we get consistent bans from, but with elastic ip's it's pretty much a non-issue. I have yet to see a site that ban's all amazon ip's.

Why is there no "forgot my password" form?

Apple has gone after jailbreakers? Thats news to me. Geohot has hacked (as far as I know) almost every iDevice Apple has put out, but Apple didn't take him to court because of it.

Why does everything automatically float to the top? It doesn't seem very usable if I can't place things where I want them.

Set top boxes are flaky? I've had quite the opposite experience. These have been the fastest, most responsive STB's I've ever worked with. Kicks the crap out of the Time Warner boxes.

I think Notch's biggest way of combating piracy right now is his price point. The game is only $13 USD and has endless amounts of playtime and creativity.

I believe that is the SD card notification, which the tablet has. It shows up whenever you put an SD card in or take it out or hook it up to the computer via usd. Anything regarding cell phone stuff is displayed next to the battery icon.

This is the first time I've heard about Whiteyboard, and I didn't have any trouble at all figuring out what it was.

From the name "Whiteyboard" and the words "stick-on whiteboards" right at eye level when the page first opened, I immediately knew what it was.

Yes, it's what got me into programming. Though as I get more work, I don't tend to game as much.

Not to mention you have to download the flash player from the market if you wish to play flash (at least I did when i updated my nexus one), so it doesn't even come on the device by default as far as I know.

Same here, when I go to the "emedia" page, it sits there loading for a good 3 minutes, then says I don't have anything to download.

And with android being open source, that can be fixed.
