Is there a comparison between a campaign simulated here and it's real world performance?

I have good experience in directus. Out of the box it gives you REST, Graphql, and Realtime websockets to your models.

You can pretty much customize all parts, and the extensions sdk is pretty comprehensive.

I think hasura is only for Graphql, and from what I saw, writing custom logic is done through webhooks only?

I am in the same boat. Had so many tries and like many others, all of them failed. I had some hard time during COVID as well, so I decided to rethink my path.

I was living in a racist place where I was discriminated, I tried my best to keep the boat afloat, but eventually burned myself and the boat.

Now I took a step back, moved to a new place, started learning a new language cause it is fun. I am basically living a simple life and working on recovering myself and (hopefully) getting ready for when the next opportunity comes in.

What I think is a bit different is that many people has lost hope completely, I still have some hope that life will give you another chance, I just need to be ready.

Seems like the privilege of raising a lot of money without having a product, revenue, or market fit can be a curse as well. They could have figured it sooner with less money in hand.

I am not that familiar with theses new sheet like apps. Although I like them because I hate sheets/excel. But can anyone point out the main focus difference between this and Airtable?

Jelastic PaaS did this a long time ago, and in much better form. It is possible to automatically scale your apps horizontally or vertically without any additional configs. I really don't understand why it is not that popular, It is the smoothest cloud experience I had compared to any other PaaS I tested.

The blog design is painful to read!

I've been using WSL1 for a long time now and I am very happy with it.

The way I use it is to have all my files and project on windows FS and I code using windows software (VSCode, Eclipse) but when I build and test, I use WSL1, and I didn't feel that the performance was that bad since I have an SSD and I don't mind waiting for few more minutes to rebuild a project.

But the most important thing for me was that I didn't care about managing another file system. All my files are still on windows where I used to keep them, file sync and backups are working as expected, and I easily browse and edit these files on the Windows side.

For docker, I installed docker on Windows and hooked Docker CLI on WSL1 to it using some configurations. and I was happy with it.

The question is, for the way I use WSL1, will WSL2 be an improvement or a drawback for me? and should someone like me switch to WSL2?

I have a smart home startup running in the middle east, and we want to develop the exact same idea in the future. The only difference is the cloud part. People here (and I assume many other countries) hate the cloud, they want everything running locally and with a minimum subscription. So we've been brainstorming a solution similar to camect[1] that handles everything locally. We still have a long time to reach that since the market here is at least 5 years late that USA.

Do you consider building this kind of device in the future?

I've seen the same mistakes happen in other languages, but the native speaker usually miss the meaning.

I think this relates to the fact that Arabic spoken language has a vast number is unique dialects, and they mostly understand each others dialects, unlike other languages that differs between dialects mostly in spelling sounds.

It is good for understanding many ML algorithms and how they work internally. So in my opinion it's enough.
