I myself am an immigrant. I seriously don't see any need, because all the new immigrants will keep their eyes and ears open to see if their application is selected. All citizens/ existing immigrants, don't really care.
OK and why is this the top of HN? Because of the number of applications?
The number of applications is slightly higher than last year, but still I fail to understand why it is on the top, because this same thing was happening for the last 4+ years.
My application was picked up in the year 2013, so I have been following both HN and the USCIS at that time. Never saw it make top of HN.
I exercise everyweek day, I meditate twice a day everyday, I play atleast 4 chess 5 min games. I have been doing this over a year and I think I'm healthy.
I make it a point to sleep atleast 8 hours a day, and sleep for 7.30+ hours everyday.
Being a CS student in my Bachelors I was able to spend sometime on Number Theory. But the lectures here blew mind.

Do you have any source to say Truecrypt becomes outdated? The last I checked, it was working just fine in Windows 8.
I don't think anything would be _drastically_ changing in Windows 11 and 12.
That's really bad for a country like USA. In India we atleast have access > 5 providers in big cities.

Concept is nice, landing page and the website are nice. What needs more work is the algorithm for determining hate. Almost all the comments that Hater News chewed out of my Reddit username were not at all* trolling. Indeed some statements were even contributing to the discussion.
Lots of Negativity here again. Most of the commenter here are saying it is wrong when he says Twitter should die because it doesn't encourage good communication, and then blocks his own comments section. It just means he wants to have a meaningful communication.
He says, you can email him, or write your own blog post to refute or add on to what he says. That way you will be facilitating a great communication.
He says though, you can email him, write your own email blog, except that you don't comment on his blog.
Does that mean he doesn't want communication to happen?

I gather that you are not an Indian, and if you really are an Indian then either you are an illiterate about what's happening in country, or you are an NRI earning in dollars in US who really don't care about India, except in writing these snarky comments.
If you are not an Indian citizen, you still should know the truth before you talk.
750 million Indian citizens aren't enjoying basic sanitation facilities because of the corruption in India. There was a Politician who was a son of Chief Minister who pledged more than 75 million in an election. This is just one example of the amount of corruption in India. Every state in India are filled with those politicians who are corrupt, and they own huge amounts of Black money.
So, I don't see what is your basis in typing in useless comment, when this money was spent as per the Budget allocation.
And finally, please don't write something unless you know the facts properly. The basic sanitation of all Indian Citizens will be improved, if the Political situation of the country is improved not by stopping Technological Advances.
Sometimes, if you don't have anything to contribute, it's better to close your computer and get out than to write these kinds of comments.
