Hi HN!

A while ago I saw a CLI to display the GitHub contribution graph in a console, so I came up with the idea of a custom git command that made the exact same graph but based on the current repository.

If you like it or have any feedback about the tool itself and its code, just leave a comment. Thank you for your attention :)

I too prefer this approach tbh. Since a few years I've only used shoes or sneakers with no laces. At the beginning I though that I was going to have problems with it, but all has been good.

Why does political activism have to be related to political ambitions? (I'm assuming you mean personal ambitions). Of course you could be an expert within a field but also try to promote or intervene in some decisions with your knowledge, without greater political aspirations. Is not a requirement, but if you're interested in providing useful insights from your field, just go for it.

Hi, this sounds really usefl and wanted to give it a try, but the connection hanged while trying to connect. I was able to scan the URL in my phone and open the browser (Firefox Nightly), but couldn't see it in action. My phone was stuck in "Peer Created", while desktop (Firefox Developer Edition) was at "Reconnecting!". Is it a network problem on my side?

Hey, this looks really good! Didn't even know that the information about those studies was accesible. I don't understand the phases meaning, can you explain them? Maybe a table or tooltip somewhere could help.

@mr-ron, I never comment on anything, but this really deserves my respects. I had a really good time playing and enjoyed having to use my knowledge to crete Skynet. Thanks for creating this.

I like to rotate my desktop background regularly, so I wrote a small script to download the daily image from a known website and save it in a folder. Then my OS picks up a random image from that folder each minute and set it up as background image

IMO It's not Netflix fault, actually emails with dots in different positions should be different emails. Also, not sending a confirmation email is a common pattern now. Maybe an email about "you created an account :D" should be enough mitigation, but this is not their fault.

I have a legit question. Do colorblind people use some extension in their browser? This post gave me the idea that maybe some extension could show them the warnings and some options to scale the colors in an appropiate manner. My first idea was to try using it in development, to check how colorblind people see our apps and provide a solution. Do you have any further plans or ideas with this? (It's an interesting topic, but I'm not very informed)

I contribute by dedicating each friday or saturday to open source projects (not mine). I do this because in CS all of our work depends on another's, and each time we import a module, visit a website, or use a phone, we KNOW that another person dedicated part of his life to do that. My contributions are my "thank you" to every person that gave part of his time to create something that helped me, creating something like an "open source cycle" where I help other because someone helped me
