Backblaze looks like a great service, but like other cloud-based backup services, it does not store "your operating system, applications, and temporary files."

I cracked the screen of my iPhone 3G a few years back. Rather than get it replaced, I decided to keep it like that since the touchscreen was still perfectly functional. I'm very nearly certain that the first half-dozen or so of his examples quite neatly fit the definition of irony.

His ultimate point may be valid, but his lexicon isn't.

"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects." - Robert A. Heinlein

So the logical course of action would be to Worship fear, stupidity, and lies in order to feel the opposite.
