Do you not maintain threads, RegEx etc... ? At best STL can be reffered to as a subset of the Standard Library, which contains the algorithms and containers framework. I take Stroustrup's word over a maintainer with the intials STL, who has an interest to keep calling it by this name.

This is not correct, you can use positive or negative indexes in either case. Positive indexes are absolute and negative are relative to the top of the stack.

This is news to me and I have a problem with the term as it does not include citizens of Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland is part of The UK(Great Britain and NI), yet not part of Great Britain(England, Scotland and Wales) or Britain(England and Wales). The Irish, amongst others, do not refer to the islands as the British Isles due to the association with Britain.[1]

Whilst GNOME has not fully disclosed the information, which has been disgust for months at Board Meetings, I would stand by the evil comment. Groupon, the massive for profit organisation, made a conscious decision ("Not only did Groupon refuse ...")to basically say FU to GNOME. They then used their position as a major organisation to try and coerce them into an unacceptable situation("alternative branding options") which included filling more trademark applications.
I would, and do, call them bullies and bullies are evil.
Yet I do not see Groupon apologising for their behaviour, which was evil.

How about adding googlecode and bitbucket to the list of searched sites and providing links to the found projects at the searched sites?
It saddens me that this government design body think that using HTML emails, with headers and footers, is somehow more official looking than plain text. If they want to reassure citizens that emails are from the government and therefore "real", then why not sign the emails with PGP? More people should be using PGP and for the government to do so, could increase its usage across the population (I have never bought into the idea PGP is too difficult to general usage).
Firstly, I hugely disagree with your comment on civility. This is because "pisses me off" expresses my feelings in a way that just could not be captured using other words. If you knew me, which of course you can not, you would understand it really means something when I swear on the internet. At present I can not think of another time when I have done so.
Secondly I would disagree that the "best solution" is to email them as a single entity. Emailing the powers that be could only be the best course of action (about topics such as this) if somebody organised a mass email campaign. Seeing as the site is a medium for news and communication, I feel having this thread in full view of all eyes may not be the "best" but it is still a good solution.

Is this for the reason that you do not want site criticism on the front page, with lots of people commenting about the policies? Instead the site would rather only one person emailed you about the problems rather than hearing a mass voice of concern?

Whilst this is true it is not really that big a problem. You can open the attachment, copy to the clipboard and then use APG to decrypt. It could be nicer and would be excellent if the client supported PGP/MIME, but I can live with it.

JFYI To be hit by a meteorite you would either need to be close to the Earth's surface or for somebody strong to throw it. Technically it is not a meteorite until it impacts with the Earth's surface, therefore this object may actually be a meteoroid.

You can check out the mx settings for the domain using one of the free online tools. If they have already sent you a message then you can look at the raw source of the email to see who and how it was sent.

Best is subjective. Who is it best for, the lazy individual posing the question(incorrect statement) or for people who will reply? In addition how many more questions can the person ask like this before everyone ignores them?
There is an indirect mention of open source. Microsoft argue the act of not paying for a licence will not reap any rewards, in fact it will do just the opposite, as there will be a loss of productivity.

All I can say to you is that you need to consult your business plan. Who is the target audience? As people here have noted, anyone tech savvied does not really care yet other do. How is the website going to be used now and in the future? Is it just after sales support for example. What is the projected turnover for the company? What amount of sales will be driven by the website. Is the website part of the company image? Will the .com domain effect your company? You may also look into your countries laws and if you can claim the domain, for example due to registered trademark.
After you have those answers you will be in a better position to think about what I first said, the only difference is the money wanted. If the company is successful and at a later point you still want the domain, it is going to be more expensive.
If you want the .com and it is available then I would suggest getting it while you can.
