In the current world, it seems the "artist" has taken the form of a hive mind (artists and songwriters) while the "instruments" are the mechanisms of production and distribution - and monetization: microphones, pickups, mixers, autotuners, amplifiers, filters, mastering artists, distribution companies, Logic Pro, digital-to-analog converters, headphones...

Unless they're seeing a live symphony or literally sitting in the recording studio with an artist, the vast majority of people (99.999%) aren't hearing music performed by the named artist. They're hearing music recordings generated by teams of people and performed by a computer.

As for your speculation on EA's pricing, have you ever visited let alone used a station? You seem unaware of their membership program which offers $0 session fees and reduced prices per kWh. Given how new their network is, pricing seems completely fair.

That little table is the only place where China looks good with regards to CO2 emissions. If the US had 4x the population, ceteris paribus, we'd have even lower CO2 "per capita" than China. Doesn't change one bit the fact that China emits 40% more CO2 than the next biggest polluter.

Some relevant context (from the other post, seemingly removed):

- Model 3 deposit was $1000, ~300k pre-orders in a few days

- Model Y deposit was $2500, but pre-order numbers are still unreleased

- Cybertruck pre-order deposit is $100

What would actually be eco-friendly (and substantially cheaper) is CNG conversion of a used truck. You can do that today for under $5k. Driving one of these instead of any other consumer car makes as much sense as driving a Hummer in the suburbs.
