What you’re getting at is known as the “risk free rate,” or the risk premium of leaving your money with another entity for a period of time. US gov’t treasuries carry a risk free rate; you’d just buy treasuries.

Since the Fed owns so much of its own debt, couldn’t it just decide not to repay itself the principal when those treasuries mature?
The two aren’t mutually exclusive and the roles change as the kid gets older.
When they’re newborns you are focused totally on providing: they can’t feed themselves, change their diapers, or bathe themselves.
When they get older they can do those things but then start having questions about the world and girls and faith. That’s when it really gets fun because you strengthen the bond.
So you’re always providing for the kid. Being there is the tougher part.

They really do a tremendous job and it's appreciated greatly.
While learning D3 I was stuck on a simple bar chart problem. Just could not figure it out. Asked on the D3 slack. None other than Mike himself took the time to look at my code and point out the error. Then he gave me some general tips that he noticed. The guy is so generous with his time and expertise and I admire him a great deal.
Have you ever bought a house here? You go through a 1-2 month (minimum) process of providing financial documents from the past six months or more to mortgage originators, and no one can tell you how much to bring to closing until 24 hours before. It’s insane.
I’ve been struggling with just purpose in general for years. I’m a husband and father - those are supposed to be my purpose. But sometimes I don’t feel very good at them. Hang in there. We’ll figure this all out.

I can never be 100% remote in my current role. I’m a DoD contractor and perform some of my duties on networks I can only access from secure facilities. I can do the rest remotely.
I think what OP means is N95 masks must be properly fitted to the individual. When my wife started working at a hospital she had to undergo such a fitting. So unless you get the proper size, you could still be exposed. I think that’s what he meant.
I agree. To add another industry, with government and/or defense contractors, certifications matter immensely - sometimes more than actual work experience.
